Uh, I have a couple mods installed, and just a little bit ago I saw some transparent ghost-things with crowns floating around in the clouds. I killed one (because I was atop a mountain near the clouds) and it dropped 1 glowstone dust. Is this part of your mod? This didn't happen in the Twilight Forest, though. Just the regular world. If it's not a part of your mod, then the only other mod it could be from is Mo' Creatures.
I cant get my portal to work? I made a 2x2 block of water and surrounded it with yellow flowers then I threw the diamond in but nothing happened. Any help?
I love how this mod looks. I can't wait to get it as soon as I have a functioning laptop again. The portal is unique, but I personally prefer a regular portal. It would be made out of hedge and you'd put water in it or something. But, overall, great job.
I don't know what's my problem... But when I go to the Twilight Forest, in about 10 seconds my Minecraft stops responding or just close without a word.
Can someone know what must be causing this? 'Cause I didn't see anyone with the same problem...
1 - Add massive mushroom biomes with towering mushrooms (way bigger then the large mushrooms in minecraft. Give it a zangermarsh feel from world of warcraft. My link
2 - Add some kind of npc city and give em dialogue and a purpose.
IGN:exmpletree Age:16 How long you've played Minecraft: 5 months
Are you sexy?: oh hell yeah ill let my elder sister play too . (she is 21) and i did her xD
Hallow hills and bosses are way too common, mazes could be a bit less common too.
See what I mean.
And other than a couple bugs I found (half a floating stronghold and no bedrock, plus some invisible blocks and bugs floating if you break the wood they're on) This mod is pretty cool.
One more bug, I usually can't get my portals to work/create.
I only have one problem with this mod and that is that my nether portal is below my twilight forest portal and when i came out of my Twilight Forest I ended up in my nether portal.
this mod is pretty cool... u should talk to Scokeev9 about the wood thing because it would be cool if the wood planks in the twilight looked diffrent than normal wood planks. one thing you should add is a tree of life. 1 per world and its 10x bigger than the trees you already made. and again add a diff. color to the wood planks. thats my feedback hope you take some of these ideas into concideration.
I cant get my portal to work? I made a 2x2 block of water and surrounded it with yellow flowers then I threw the diamond in but nothing happened. Any help?
Make sure it's only one block deep. And there should be 12 plants of any kind surrounding the pond. Yellow flowers do indeed work as my portal was made with only yellow flowers surrounding it.
First I'd like to say Great mod! It's so cool and I can't wait for future updates. Although I did notice a slight issue with the terrain generation. I have no clue if you can do anything about this, but Strongholds still spawn. They also look really wierd with floating rooms and libraries.

Thanks for the bug report. I noticed that while I was testing, but I found it sort of fascinating. Then I kept putting off fixing it until I had forgotten about it entirely, whoops.
I just tried out the new update and I have to say I'm really impressed. Making the portal worked out way better than I thought it would and the naga boss was awesome. So far this is one of my favorite mods out there. Haven't found any problems so far and I will be sure to tell you if I find any.

Make sure the yellow flowers on on grass? Make sure the water is only 1 deep? I'm not quite sure. I'll have to add some sort of animation or effect to the next release that gives people a better idea if the mod is not working entirely, or if the portal is formed wrong.
I think it might be possible that Mo' Creatures conflicts with it. Mo' Creatures has a mob called Wraith, and this mod does as well. This might not be the problem, but it's possible.
Aaah, yes, I think there might in fact be a name conflict. I'll see what I can do to fix that in the next release.
I saw in a screenshot that there were huge mushrooms on some trees, and that gave me an idea;
Huge Huge Mushrooms :tongue.gif: Basically, a giant trunk made from the mushroom 'gills' with a brown mushroom cap as the canopy and long, twirling, tangled branches with red mushroom caps at the ends :biggrin.gif:
I've thought about something like that. I'll have to see how it looks.

Thanks for the bug reports. I don't know why you can't usually get the portals working. Like I said higher up in this post, I'll have to add some sort of feedback system as to why the portals won't create for people having problems.
I don't know, I don't recall seeing that. Well, if he did decide to go down that route then it's his mod, and I respect that. But I'd have to say it would spoil the atmosphere somewhat for me.
If villagers and quests become an important part of minecraft, I may have to add some into the Twilight Forest. No plans other than that though.
Amazing job! I think you should add some different features though. The logs from new trees are not affected by axes and I think should make different from standard planks with different art and color. Also, if you add new ores and things, then there could be basically a no help or relation of standard world.
Hopefully, I'll get it so that axes work normally on the new logs soon, as that bugs me too. I probably won't add new planks though.
Hullo, my name is Firespread. Sir Firespread, if you please. I'm naturally American and English is my native language, but I'm about 40% Russian, 20% French/German/Spanish/English, 10%Irish, 10% Israeli, 10% From every other developed country on earth, and 10% American.
So I guess you could say I'm Russian, even though I know none of the language. I do know some French, however. Anyway, I'm Sir Firespread, And I'm here to help. And rant.
This is my most favorite mod (second to millenaire), it's great, but it really needs to add some new items, mobs, and crafting recipes. Then it would be 1#

I didn't see that he said yellow. I've tried all of them together on a massive scale

Thanks, it looks great. I don't mean to be too picky, but I do notice that it says "Twillight" with two "L"s. :wink.gif:

I probably won't. I don't want to change any of the minecraft core mechanics, and your stuff constantly breaking seems to be one of them.
I've thought about something like that. I'll have to see how it looks.
The 1.3 release uses block IDs 130-137. They are not configurable, although I intend to change that in the future.
Probably a name conflict with Mo' Creatures. I'll see what I can do to fix that in the next release.

It was pretty complicated. Probably too involved to make a very good tutorial.
Not in the 1.3 release, no. :sad.gif: I'll have to see what I can do to make it happen in a future release.

Love the forest!
