I've fixed the twilight forest biome id conflict with biomes o' plenty, but now the same message appears after I added the mo' creatures mod. it says there's a biome id conflict but I can't find a config file that has mo' creatures biome id. does anyone have this problem with mo' creatures and twilight forest? and what should I do?

I remember a biome ID option in the MoC config when I last used it; that was on 1.6.4, but I don't see why something like that would have been remove.

I had a biome ID conflict recently as well. Do you have NEI in your game? If so, you can use the "dump" feature in game to dump all biomes in use to a "dump" file found in .minecraft. Crack that open, pull up the TF config alongside it, and make whatever changes necessary!
Yeah, that isn't a TF biome, and neither is the one with vines and bright green foliage at the edges of the pic.

You want a farm, you grab a hoe. You want a boat, you grab some wood. You want a fireplace, you grab A FLAMING HELL-BOULDER BECAUSE THAT'S HOW MINECRAFTERS ROLL!!!
Ok I found the biome. It is blossom hills. Do I change the number of 2 biomes have the same number? Btw the biome with the same number is called "Stream." Stream is apparently a biome in twilight forest.

no, biomes need to have their own ID. you are limited to 255. any ID's over 128 will be seen as sub biomes of the biomes below 128. (subtract 128 from the ones over to get the corresponding main biome)
it will take some time to adjust the biomes so you have no conflicts if you have a lot of biome adding mods.
MOC doesn't have biomes....

It adds a whole dimension for wyverns, which obviously has its own biome.

DOH!, haven't messed with wyverns is so long I forgot about that. but the biome ID is avail for config with MOC.
Do you always spawn in the final plateau when you enter a twilight portal in superflat? Can you change it in the config?
no, you aren't supposed to spawn there.
Well I spawn in some place. It's like a gravel mountain or something. I'll get some screenshots.
Here's the screenshot
that's not supposed to happen....do you have any other mods installed? besides BG2 and the minimap mod?
Damage Indicators, obviously twilight forest, animal bikes, animals plus, NEI, colorful mobs, enhanced biomes, emerald tools and armor (not orespwan), eternal frost, fast craft (less lag), pokeball, morph mod, insta house, lots of food, MCA, furniture, optifine, MSM (more swords). All are latest version and have the cores (radix core, etc) they need.
something is causing your TF to not generate properly. you need to find out what biome that is.
Press F3 and see what the biome is, and then see if there's not a conflict.
Also check your settings for Enhanced Biomes.
Got it thanks

That castle surrounded by thorns, could it be a ref to Sleeping Beauty?
Wait so i should change the numbers? Do i change it so blossom hills and twilight stream number is different. I'm confused.
yes, each biome needs its own ID, just like blocks used to. Biomes just don't cause crashes like conflicting block ID's did.
Ok now i get it! Thanks Kye_Duo
