The following mods are mine. You can tell because the ideas are overly simple, and/or are completely useless, and/or have been superseded by super-awesome mods that no one told me were out until weeks after I uploaded the link.
---SaddleCraft---
A rather simple mod. This allows you to craft and un-craft saddles. One saddle in the crafting box will yield 5 leather. Crafting saddles uses the following recipe:
- Leather
- String
- Iron ingot
Basically, think of it as crafting a leather vehicle (just like a boat or a minecart), with some string and a metal clamp to keep it on the pig. If you want to get into the nitty-gritty economics of the system, I wanted to ensure that one couldn't make an infinite number of saddles, so I had to include something that couldn't be harvested from mobs. Iron ingots just seemed like a good choice.

---Others's Mods---
The following mods were not originally my idea. So, before you try to thank me for these mods, be sure to thank Sargunster for the ideas, thank Flan and Alblaka for helping him get started, and, while you're at it, thank MatrexsVigil for helping me get these to work on Minecraft Forge. Speaking of which, all of the following mods require Modloader, ModloaderMP, and Minecraft Forge.
The descriptions for these mods were written by their previous owner, and therefore may contain errors or seemingly unusual phrasings.
---Ore Trees---
This mod adds a new type of tree: the Ore Tree.
Recipes:
= Golden Sapling
= Stone Sapling
(Both where is sapling.)
= Ore Growth Wand
(Where is bonemeal.)
Plant the Golden Sapling and wait for it to grow. It needs the same amount of light and space as the normal tree. If you plant it on an iron block, it grows coal. If you plant it on a gold block, it grows iron. If you plant it on a diamond block, it grows gold. If you plant it on a mossy cobblestone block, it grows mossy cobblestone. The Stone Sapling is the same as the Golden Sapling, but it makes cobblestone instead of leaves. The Ore Growth Wand can be used to grow Ore Trees instantly, like bonemeal.

---Custom Trees---
This mod is similar to the Ore Tree, but it allows you to change what blocks it grows using the config.
Recipe:
= Custom Sapling
(Again, is sapling.)
Plant the Custom Sapling on a Lapis Lazuli block and wait for it to grow. It needs the same amount of light and space as the normal tree. It can grow up to 3 types of blocks. Set them in the config file. (Downloadable here)

---Glowstone Farming---
This mod adds a new block called the Glowstone Source. This is also compatible with SMP. The texture is from the Painterly Pack.
Recipe:
= Glowstone Source
(Where is gold block and is glowstone dust.)
The Glowstone Source will create glowstone blocks near it.

---Gunpowder Machine---
This mod adds a new block called the Gunpowder Machine. It will automatically spit out 1-2 gunpowder every game day. The texture is from the Painterly Pack.
Recipe:
= Gunpowder Machine
Place it anywhere and wait for it to generate gunpowder. If a chest is placed on top of the machine, it will deposit the gunpowder inside the chest.

---Baby Creepers---
Baby Creepers are a new mob. They're passive, they spawn on peaceful, and they drop gunpowder when killed.
Finally, after months of waiting on your part and hard work on mine, the new model for Baby Creepers is complete! Sorta.... Point is, they now, for the most part, look like they're supposed to.

---"Legal" Note---
Don't use my mods for monetary gain for your part or for the part of any others. If you can manage that, we'll all be good.
---Other Notes---
If you have any ideas on how to make any of my mods better, or you have ideas for new mods you would like me to fill, or if you find any glitches, inaccuracies, or bugs, please leave a post and let me know. Also, I have a new mod (not a big one, though) that I want to get out, but I can't until I find someone who will teach me how to use GUIAPI.
---Things that aren't mods---
In case any of you have updated to 1.8 and have found that you don't like it, and, for any bizarre reason you may have, deleted your 1.7 backups, you can go here to download a clean 1.7.3 jar. (Be aware that it has a "saves" folder, and some systems won't merge. Also be aware that the options file is set to my personal preferred settings rather than the default.)

My computer's laggy and I hod to roll my computer back over my screen-recording software, so I'll get on a video tomorrow morning. I will hopefully have a vid up in 15 hours or fewer.
Got a vid up. Apparently, I don't know how to embed a video using BBC anymore, so until I figure that out you'll have to use the link.

I'd like to thank everyone for their patience and support so far. I've gotten 14 downloads. (I know it's not much, but I'm glad for it.) I'm starting to take a java class at the college, so I won't have much time to mod for the next few months, but I'll hopefully be better at it when I get back.

I finally got Sargunster's mods to work off Forge! So, I guess this means I'm unofficially officially filling his shoes at the moment. Unfortunately, I haven't done Baby Creepers as I'm not sure what Forge can do for it, and I haven't done any of the SMP mods because I don't know the first thing about SMP modding. (If anyone wants to help out, they can.)

Sorry, I set up the page in an unusual way. The config file for all the Sargunster mods can be found under the custom trees tab. OIC- I'll try to fix this as soon as possible.

Sorry about that. I misunderstood the purpose of that feature. I've removed the "private" flag from all my files and the file should be readily accessible to anyone who wants. I'm dreadfully sorry about the confusion, and if there's any way to make up for it, please let me know.

I'm good... I've actually come into possession of backup versions of Minecraft, all the way back to 1.1 Beta. Since I have a huge hard drive, I plan to setup version-specific directories so I can back-review some of these older Mods in their original environments.
What would be nice would be a proper revival of BeastGamer's Powered Furnace Mod. As long as it had a Redstone circuit active next to it, the furnace would work forever without using any fuel! Meaning you could save your coal for torches, instead of smelting iron, sand, gold, and everything else under the cubic sun with it. Just an idea, since BeastGamer's made it clear they will not be updating or dealing with it any longer, despite keeping up their Powered Pumpkin and Powered Netherrack Mods.
Netherrack you can turn off and on the flip of a switch.... *sigh!* What a beautiful addition to any Grinder....

(atAgentRenamon)I'm always looking for backups of Minecraft; I have 1.5 - 1.8 right now. If you could share those with me, that would be super. And, since I know where to get old versions of MCP, I might could do some work on bringing some old mods up a bit. In fact, I'd love to just have a little directory I could work on when I wanted to.(/atAgentRenamon)
Speaking of bringing up old mods, I've done a good deal of work in getting Ore Trees, Glowstone Farming, Gunpowder Machine, Custom trees, and (for the heck of it) More Stairs to 1.8. There's a really annoying glitch about jumping onto and off of non-standard height blocks, but that could factor out with almost anything. (I think it's caused by ModLoaderMP, and not by any of my mods, but I still feel mad about it.) I haven't obfuscated the code yet, but things are looking rather good thus far. I should have them out and ready for download by end of next week.

Here's the link to the old versions; Just copy the contents over your current version, and everything's fine, as long as you DON'T Force an Update....
The Glowstone Farm Mod seems to work fine; and with the Painterly Pack I have, the Glowstone Blocks have an architectual look. Custom Trees / Ore Trees is my favorite, since I can grow the Mossy Cobble I need for another Mod which lets me craft spawners from it, iron ingots, and a "secret ingrediant" that sets what it spawns.
And before you ask.... Its one of MightyPork's Mods over on PlanetMinecraft.net ... Its balanced since you have to find a dungeon in order to get Mossy, in order to make spawners. I haven't tried the Gunpowder Machine or Stairs yet; but I'm certain they'll be ok, too.
