1) no client mod required. it will be all on the server
2) commands will allow the creation of the switches and stuff on ANY BLOCK. This includes stuff like signs and anything else that may have another preset function.
3) perhaps when 1.3 comes out, you can do creation by placing a book with special text into bookshelves
4) one way blocks will not be implemented.

As for Spout (which I love for having the gull to make custom blocks and items work in SMP first) it's been a horse race between them and the API since the Spout team 'broke away'. And while their new Spout server sounds like a nice idea it seems like something Spout followers/diehard will adopt, but not the masses...

yes, the forge version WILL fix that. howeveer there is a a lighting bug I can't figure out. it will only have lighting issues when trying to copy blocks added with teh forge.

Doors still look like doors when camouflaged. Is there any chance they could be made to take on the shape of the block they are imitating?
changing the shape?? probably not... The Doors and TrapDoors will also not be able to copy Forge blocks. It conflicts with the way the blocks are renderred.
problem with that is the people who do not have the mod do not see the block. Not having the mod means the hidden stuff dosn't exist.. thus ruining the point of he mod.
Glut? I would search for a plug-in that doens't allows the person enter in server unless it have the mod. Cheers!
That is amazing if you get to work on bukkit i will love you forever i really want to get this working with my server but not have to force my friends to get the mod just to play on my server. Still even if i tryed i still wouldnt know how to install for vinnila server

Heh, it seems in your haste you forgot to include the Images folder (in the forge Version), I downloaded the Modloader version and hijacked its copy, and it loads up just fine.
However, in SSP, when a secret Wooden door is placed, it puts down a secret iron door (and of course you get a secret iron), in SMP, it places as a Secret Wooden door, however, when you break it, the client freezes (and eventually black screens), I assume this is because the server and client disagree on what item should be dropped. No other bugs noticed at this moment, but I've only just started playing with the mod.

checked my forge version to make sure it was up to date, problem still there, noticed a number of other people posted about the png issue but didnt see a stack trace so thought i'd provide one
Added in the png myself. The camo blocks do take mod textures for blocks, but they don't use the right meta... so if, like in RP2, marble, basalt, marble brick, and basalt brick, all share the 142 id, basalt brick has a 142:4 ID, but the camo blocks use just the ID, so you get marble. The same with TC2 with eldritch stone and seals!
Here's a suggestion: camo pistons. they imitate the blocks they are touching and so do the arms. maybe you right click to (de)activate camo so you can place them and know where they face.

For the textures.. you can download a previous version and use the SecretRoomsMod Folder from there and install it. DO NOT install anything else from the old version. This will fix any texture issues. The other things will be up by the weekend hopefully.
