With as long as ive been using your mods, cant believe i didnt see this untill last night. This is exsactly what i needed, lol. Mainly need the xray part while im reconfigureing new ore mods and stuff so i can see if i have it all set up correctly.
Can I fix this without mcpatcher and use forge instead? The instructions just say drag and drop it into mods folders.
Until i rewrite this to be a FML coremod (i dont know if i will), no
To "fix" the falling issue i need code in a specific spot in the Player class, which is not exposed by Forge or FML. So, either i use mcpatcher to get my code in there, or i dont, which means falling damage.
I can't customize the keybinds and speed and whatnot because it never creates SimplyHaxFlying.txt
Edit: I think I know what to do, derp... it was a .cfg file in the config section
Now I feel like a dumbcrap for trying so hard to find a .txt file...
Edit #2: This works with 1.4.5, I tested and it was successful.
I'm getting sporadic crashes when moving over terrain that changes elevation, even when fly mode isn't enabled. Doesn't happen without Simply Hax. This crashes Java, not just Minecraft, so I get a core dump rather than the nice Minecraft crash report. Relevant portion of the console log is as follows:

I'm running Forge (various releases from recommended to latest), using the FML version, and Minecraft 1.4.5. When it doesn't decide to crash Java, it works fine.
I've updated Hax, as well as my Java, and I'm still getting sporadic crashes of Java. It seems to be some sort of interaction with Optifine (currently Ultra D3). Is anyone else here running the two together?
Thanks for making this FML compatable, seems everything I enjoy about minecraft mods is falling under the Forge loader these days, I've one question though, when you start flying it is very slow, is the only way to speed that up us using the "sprint" key?
What I mean is, when you use /gamemode c and use the flying there the speed is not to fast, not to slow, kinda just right, no use of sprint but Simply Hax flying starts soo slow and editing the config only affects the "sprint" speed correct?
Hi AtomicStryker. I've further traced that crash bug I was getting, and it's specifically due to an interaction with Optifine's multi-core chunk loading. If that's switched off, I don't get crashes. If it's on, I can get random crashes when moving over certain terrain (I thought it was the altitude change, but it might be a chunk border, or the combination). No idea if there's anything to be done about it or not, but I just thought I'd let you know.
1.4.6
-updated to 1.4.6
-fixed the bug where deactivating flying, falling, and reactivating before hitting the ground would yield fall damage
-removed the manually definable buttons for flying up and down, now simply uses JUMP and SNEAK as set in minecraft

I'm running a pure-vanilla build server for my friends. I'd like to be able to give them flying without giving them creative mode.

Anyway to make the starting flight a bit faster?
Love the vision and want it to be available in SMP.
Question: How can I switch off the flying part of SimplyHax?
