Maybe an picture (.gif)? Didnt noticed it yet
@ My last post: Thats why i enclosed it in quotes: "
How would I make a gif of it? I know one recorder (byzanz), but it's very slow.
Just generate world in 1.2 and 1.1 and compare. In 1.2 progress bar is sluggish, and it looks like the game is slow, while in 1.1 it's silk-smooth.
I thought it's because of Anvil, but it was made by intention.
Tried it out, didnt noticed an noticeable difference (had same speed 1 to 2 seconds), possibly of my (thanks to christmas) 1337 gamer-pc or some different mystical reason under the command of Lord Herobrine...
I didn't mean speed of loading. I meant that:

Holy crap. Now I can finally play Indev without switching out my Minecraft!
Except from the fact that theres enderman and I can edit blocks out of the boundaries....
Other than that, this is GREAT!
So, I would like a confirm from the owner themselves (Not some random troll)
Will this map colide with my current maps? If not, I'm in! Also, will I get all the new non-terrain related content if I were to make a world built for alpha? (Mob A.I., the nether, etc.)
Lolz, i noticed some kind of eyecandy: I watched a video of Minecraft in Beta 1.1 or somewhere in that time and some guy had punched a grass block, which dropped Particles with bits of the grass sides. When i punched today a grass block i see only dirt particles, and if i punch a workbench, i only see normal wood particles, so basically, the texture of breaking block particles is ALWAYS the underside of the blocks, and not the side (Test it with logs or look at that video (in the beginning)):
So, to say it short, my question is if you could re-add this (i know thatll be hard to code and stuff)
Oh and for eyecandy you could make the redstone dust black again (not sure when it went dark red in unactive mode) and that trees dont have their shades in smooth lightning like they do without smooth lightning:

OldDays requires all classes that I ship with modules to run.

Edit blocks — I currently see no way of preventing this, as maps are infinite, just with finite generation.
So, I would like a confirm from the owner themselves (Not some random troll)
Will this map colide with my current maps? If not, I'm in! Also, will I get all the new non-terrain related content if I were to make a world built for alpha? (Mob A.I., the nether, etc.)
What do you mean by colliding?
The Nether — obviously, yes.
Mob AI — NBXlite does nothing with it. However, it's possible to disable it with OldDays.

You could secretly implement these, to see IF sombody notices
I would name them: Old Particles, Black Redstone and Shade-free Trees, lol
So basically, i want to say that it WOULD be cool IF you would implement this eyecandy, you dont have to, but would be cool, and if you dont, i would be OK with that (Maybe a poll to see who else that likes?)
Shade-free trees — just disable smooth light.
Black redstone: texture pack.
Old particles: As I already said, it's very subtle change. For example, I never noticed it.

Shade free trees: Yes i know, but in mid beta (1.4 or somewhere) They didnt had shades even WITH smooth lighning
Black redstone: Hm, i looked at the terrain.png of a random texturepack (here its Misas 64x64) and the redstone is WHITE?? Then i tried it with an 16x16 (Nostalgia Craft). Ingame its both dark-red. Result: http://imgur.com/a/AUia1#0
So i think it has to do something with the code or im just stupid
// I just murdered my chocolate-easter-bunny
It's colored in game, like grass and leaves.

OK, i know that grass uses grasscolor.png and leaves uses foliagecolor.png. I browsed my whole minecraft.jar for an .png that has the redstoney dark-red color, but i failed. Didnt found any.
It's hardcoded.
This is one of what MCPatcher's Custom Colors are made for.

Ok, when you say its hardcoded, i think it must be something in the code, right?
(You are allowed to lol at my stupidness)
How do i make with the help of custom colors the redstone black?
Read MCPatcher documentation. I don't remember exactly.
However, AFAIK, it uses some text file in jar.
Color is in code, yes, like dark swamp grass/foliage color etc.
OK, my friend borrowed me his minecraft.jar for one day and i made some screenshots to compare these particle-related-things: http://imgur.com/a/H04FD#0
If you are going to DEFINITELY not implement this, could you just make me an version with that for private use?
Implemented.

I think yes.
Though I don't know if it's possible to do it without editing additional classes.
Infdev generator generates really huge ones.
Also, on a more important note, I managed to get NBXlite and OldDays running fine, as I made sure only them and their loaders were installed.
Installing Optifine, however, gave me this error:

OldDays requires all classes that I ship with modules to run. Because they use same classes, obviously.
I forgot to change version for 1.2.4.
However, I fixed it for 1.2.5. Edit blocks — I currently see no way of preventing this, as maps are infinite, just with finite generation. I don't know as it requires editing block rendering, I think. What do you mean by colliding?
