When we are copying the contents of the client, do we also copy the entire nbxlite folder as well? or should we leave it alone? or should we open that and copy all the files in that folder as well? or wut lol

Copy contents of "client" folder:
nbxlite folder, 2- and 3-letter classes and mod_noBiomesX.class
It's obvious.
Whenever I try to play Minecraft with a jar that contains either OldSurvival or NBXlite, I get a blackscreen. No error message, a clean ModLoader log, just a blackscreen. And I did not forget to delete META-INF.
Please give me some hint on how to get rid of that, I really want to go on playing my old 1.5_01 map
That doesn't happen for me... I think with the new Minecraft version you might have to make the folder an actual .jar file or something. (javac in command prompt) I know there are some major changes to that. I know how you feel, sometimes I try to instal mods and it just doesn't work out... same thing.
OH: if you are on Mac, sometimes you will only delete the two files starting with Mojang in the META-INF. It just depends on which mod you're installing. Other than that, I really can't help you.
_________
On another note, what if I wanted the old terrain generator, but not the old mob spawning code? Which classes would I NOT put in the Minecraft.jar? Would I have to go into the source and manually edit them? I'm wondering because I want to keep my animal farm
It might be nice if you separated the terrain generator into its own mod. Cause that's all that I really want in NBX lite.
By the way, all your other stuff is great.

It should not depend on OS.
I use GNU/Linux and removing META-INF works.
On Windows it probably works too.
Mac... Java should be same everywhere.
First of all, thank you for your help... I have tried it on both my Mac and my Windows partition and it seems my Windows Minecraft is completely broken, don't know why but it isn't really important. And on the Mac thingy: I never heard of that before and always deleted the whole folder, might be the case for not being able to use Audiomod... Well, thanks for that!
But nonetheless I somehow got it working in the last 5 minutes... kinda just like after finally asking for help. I think one of the problems was the Macs' behavior when pasting complete folders destroying everything inside the folder you were going to expand via overwriting... OldSurvival killed my gui folder
Anyway, now it works, I can go back to the glory of 1.5_01, thank you Exalm and VoteLobster!
Aaaaand another thing: Would it be possible to re-implement the F-button to allow for fast render distance changing?
There was a mod for this.
Anyway, it's not very important feature.
Edit: pasting complete folders destroying everything inside the folder you were going to expand via overwriting?
OMG, how do you use it?

Honestly, NBXlite initial purpose was to separate NBX generation from the gameplay and other stuff.
And you CAN keep your farm if you breed them all.
Then they will not despawn and will not count for 15 animals limit.
And please answer on following questions:
1. What to do with wolves and ocelots in old worlds? I can keep biome-dependent spawning, so they will spawn in some areas, but then other areas will have no animals at all (because of oceans).
2. How to use new spawning on finite maps? Animals respawn, but VERY rarely, and new animals spawn with generation.
But on finite maps you can't explore new areas to get new animals.
Also: If I'll separate old spawning, it will be incompatible with NBXlite.
this is just a suggestion but could you add old chest, the ones that are like a block and dont open? thanx. and by the way keep up the good work i love these mods and hope you keep updating them! thanx
Not sure if bug or if it actually happens in minecraft, but when you ride a boat onto a wooden halfstep (probably other types too), it kills you for some reason
I dont know if this is a bug or a glitch or my fault.
when nbxlite make a alpha world with woods and new ores it only pasts textures on 1/4 on the world.
the other 3/4 are invisible.

It is in OldDays. (It's not in OP yet, I'll add it when I'll update it for 1.2.5)

I have a idea for a mod:
Can you add the old changing of Day to Night, because the new changing is so smoothed now and i don't like it so!
(sry for my bad english)
Look at the InsanityBringer's ClassicLight.
And NBXlite includes it, because it's required for themes.

No new features this time, but I refactored some things, so it now modifies 5 classes less.
Sorry for no updates, I'm waiting for ModLoader and ModLoaderMp to update for 1.2.5, so I can update it too, port to SMP and release first stable version.
Truly amazing.
sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

Hmm, weird.
Do you use Forge?
