there still seems to be some issues causing extremely laggy block updates with loading texture packs out of directories rather than archives when playing alpha levels, but now they only happen when you're using themes. Like last time when I reported a similar issue, this only happens when you're using texture packs in folders. Creating a .zip of the tp directory and using that instead works.

Since there's no hunger to regen your hearts, cave spiders have turned into bosses, knocking your hearts down to half, plus they have spawners. Do you think there is any way to lower their difficulty a bit? Maybe reducing the durability of the poison? If ya can't do it its fine and I'll just avoid mineshafts for now until I get some armor.

Great mod. Had a wonderful time re-living the alpha days, but I noticed something interesting... I just want to point out that when switching items in-game it still displays text above your GUI showing what item you are holding. This is a new feature and I hope to see it removed soon.

hmm...here is an idea however it may make them a bit too underpowered. You could perhaps get rid of the poison affect altogether, so they would just be like normal spiders, except smaller and able to fit through one block gaps.

It depends very much on client, so I need to rewrite pretty much all the internal stuff, reimplement ALL the features for the server and also do every new change twice (Some are even 3 times — for SSP, LAN multiplayer and the standalone server).

I just switched to a HD pack. Guess what? No a single error, framerate is OK.

Oh, but this it's a 16x TP (Better than default), I force compatibility putting the "olddays" folder in this pack.
