I miss the old version of the mod. Cause in previous versions there wasn't a hole mod that's not compatible with any other mod. There was just a file like xn.class you replace it and here you go you got an old stuff back, but now it sucks. You cannot install one feature of this mod and play with other mods noo no one cares about us, players that use other mods.

Do you mean the few mods for boosters etc. One feature per class, no configuration, need to install about 10 mods etc.

I wish we could at the very least convince them about the stability issues that are present. They're blatantly obvious -- and not a single thing has been done about them :/
Anyways, the villages.dat thing seems to be really weird. I had previously played the world before installing SSP entirely in 1.4.6, and strangely enough, when I first checked the villages.dat file (which was after installing SSP), it was empty. (and judging from the fact that it hasn't been cleared since I noticed this, I'm assuming that it was never populated at all) I'm wondering as a result if there's more going on with it than I actually expect, heh. I might have to run some tests.

Even if they will be fixed, there will be minor differences everywhere, like unability to use the click-mining bug. This one is pretty easy to fix, but there are plenty of them...
Villages are very weird, since the initialization code is the same, they tick the same here and there, and the Village* classes have no checks whether the world is server or not, no isRemote field checks etc. So they should behave the same way, and I wonder why they don't.
Edit: Village* classes got no changes in 1.3 except some minor changes which would affect them both in the SSP and internal server modes. (And which are probably only different in the decompiled code and the same for the Mojang)

It takes too much time on 1.3 and 1.4. I will eventually reimplement it, but for now it's discontinued. (Sources in src/server in the github repo are still for 1.2.5)

-in Indev and Infdev, sheep dropped light gray wool
-is it possible to make an smp version of this mod or not?
-how about having the three Infdev versions under one button when creating a world, just like beta and release
-in beta 1.7, shearing a sheep could give you at most 4 wool as opposed to 3
-minecarts could be pushed by water and were solid in alpha
-redstone had only two shades in alpha, a dark red for off (different than today), and a light red when on (only one color all the way through the 15 block range)
-off state redstone was black in beta 1.2 to beta 1.4

Really? I must not have noticed. Then again, my laptop can barely run the game as it is. I had thought the no-pushing was a feature since players complained about farming.
