Iv been learning opengl for java so I decided I might see if I can do anything cool with minecraft because id been thinking of making a mod so I decided might aswell have something to do with graphics :tongue.gif:. So spikecraft pretty much makes all normal blocks have spikes coming out of them. It looked really buggy but im going to screw around with it more and see if I can make it look good!
So heres a video just showing what it makes minecraft look like
Installation intructions:
1. Extract the contents of SpikeCraft to the desktop
2. Open up ur appdata folder should be at c:\users\"name"\appdata
3. Go into .minecraft folder which is inside ur appdata folder
4. Go to bin and then right click on minecraft.jar->open with->winrar archiver
5. Drag and drop the cv file on ur desktop into ur minecraft.jar
6. Open minecraft :biggrin.gif:!
Note: if you dont have winrar just google winrar and it should have the winrar website!
The trees look much more realistic :ohmy.gif:
If you could make it so that there are no blue spots where the void is showing through the blocks (I don't know if that's possible with this) then it would look a lot cleaner
Can you make it so only leaves look spiky like that? lol

@darkmaker54 im thinking I might make menu where u can set it so like only trees are spiky or u can set whole world to be spiky also im going to try to align the vertexs so maybe theres no holes :tongue.gif:
come on guys, stop trolling... I say this mod is very unique and deserves some attention. I would download it, but I have other things I have to do at the moment, :tongue.gif:. Keep up the good work Backgrounder!
P.S. You should make minecraft where you have the option to play upside down, NOW that would be a challenge!
I agree with darkmaker54. The trees look a lot more realistic.
And i think the point of this mod is to showcase Backgrounder's potential as a modder. How hard do you think it is to create such a strange way of rendering blocks?
