Can someone tell me how you install??!! Sorry if I sound stupid, but I have no idea what he's talking about when he says to set / as the import. Can someone post some simple instructions on how to use this?
I tried installing it with MCPatcher and first off it told me there was a conflict between it, ModLoader and Aether. Went ahead and patched it anyways. Started up MC and everything was normal at first until the same problem reared its ugly head......the memory usage level zoomed up to over 1gb and basically MC locked up. TaskManager says it's still running but it's basically all locked up.
It's annoying when the lockup happens as I've lost all progress from the last time that I pressed Esc to go to the Options menu.
Version 1.1 for Minecraft actually improved the tick performance a lot. I still would like this updated however, for people who aren't graced with specifications like mine.
When a mod hasn't been updated since Beta, that's usually a sign it's dead.

I might look into Minecraft CPU performance some day soon. Really? Does that mean that no villages will ever spawn again after I install OptiTick, and the only villages I'll have are the ones I already found?
