I was wondering whats the story with this inficraft 2 buisiness, are you getting someone to maintain the mod? Or create a version similar to the 1.2.5 version? I get your interest in parts of this mod has dropped, are you just concentrating on working on TC now?
I've gotten far enough into 1.5 that I have an idea of what's going to happen. In short, I'm going to phase out InfiCraft in favor of a few other things. I'll explain:
Armory makes perfection when paired with TConstruct. InfiBlocks has a bunch of elements I'd like to use in other ways, like liquid stained glass or patterns for crafting magic slabs. Tweaks is disappearing from general bugginess or from things I can do without base edits - Hunger Tweaks is already being made part of TConstruct as adventure content.
Microblocks makes for awkward comments, so I may or may not update it. More to come~
Flora & Soma is going to get its own mod, like it was supposed to. It will probably drag Simple Background with it. Like Armory, Simple Background goes well with an atmospheric mod. I would like to work on both of them in the future, perhaps having TConstruct and Flora & Soma compliment each other. TConstruct could be the raw player power and dungeons, Flora & Soma could be the lovely world changes. The plan is to make an awesome adventure-style world where you constantly discover new things.
This just leaves Orizon. Slime Pools will either end up with TConstruct or Flora & Soma, but the stone... well, I haven't decided yet.
Chances are, you probably did something wrong...Do you have Forge Mod Loader installed? Put everything in the correct places? And lastly, please don't spam the board by double posting the same thing, and also saying the same thing twice in a single post.

I used the installer and made a backup of minecraft, went on minecraft in creative, then looked in my inventory, and what do I see? The same things I usually see.
