Is this SMP too? There was so much, so I didn't see...

So I might be doing something entirely wrong, but all I'm trying to do is install the 4094 fix thing. I've got modloader and forge in just fine, but then I try and install 4094 and it won't work. I either get a black screen or a crash that immediately closes minecraft. I did manage to grab a screenie of it. Reading the front page, it says something about a hidden folder that's created by Macs that you have to delete, but I'm unsure what hidden file that is. Soo if someone could help or handhold me through this somehow, I'd be grateful.
That's the screencap I managed to nab before it crashed. From what I can tell, when I copy paste the files in the 4094 zip into the jar, there is a folder named forge with configuration.class in it that replaces the files for the original Forge mod. That gives me a black screen. I tried leaving out that folder, I think that crashed it. I tried putting the classification.class in 4094's forge file into the Forge file, overwriting forge's classification, black screen again (I think. I was doing this last night, I'm a bit fuzzy on what did what).
Soo any suggestions? I'm basically flying by the seat of my pants for this D:
ummm I'm having a problem where Minecraft loads my world but propmtly freezes up on me, and refuses to respond....is there any way I could fix this? I'm Currently stuck in a Snow Biome...sorry I cant offer any other details as I cant even get it to come up with an error Message.
ok so iam unable to get an error report or anything alls i know is that when i install the inficraft mod pack (not the xmod pack ) the infi mod pack with all the infimod server side files and mods the items in the base install it still crashes sometimes it goes to 3 mins but even if i try and break a block in black screens i dont know whats going on and iam trying to host this server for me and a freind when i run the normal sp it works fine

Crash Report: I run a lot of mods, and I have tested them one at a time to try to identify the cause of the crash I am experiencing. The following crash report happened after I added Flora and Soma. Before I added Flora and Soma to the mod folder I had played with all the other mods installed for 8+ hours. Add in Flora and Soma and the crash happens - repeatable.
Things I have done to try to resolve this on my own:
- Increased Java Memory to 3G (Reverted when it didn't work)
- Updated Java (I was already using 64-7, but there was a small update.)
- Updated LWJGL (Reverted back to MC default bc the latest one LWJGL 2.8.3 has a serious memory leak - tested without mods)
- Updated Graphics drivers
- Installed one mod-at-a-time and tested each for 30+ mins then all for 7+ hours before adding in Flora and Soma.
- Confirmed no ID missmatches - checked all config files and created a spreadsheet to confirm unique block IDs (I have added a block ID list report to the end of this post.)
- Searched the forums for information on something similar and found nothing.
Under normal load my game runs with about 1.8G of system memory and no issues. When I add in Flora and Soma it seems to eat up memory until around 2.2G before it runs out of memory. I think there is a memory leak in it, but not sure.
Here is what I use to launch Minecraft (however, the crash report was generated using the batch file listed in the InfiCraft Troubleshooting section)
"C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -Xincgc -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -Xss1024M -cp Minecraft.exe net.minecraft.LauncherFrame

Ok, so I ran the error test. I've noticed that some other recipes, such as paper dust, aren't working either, if that helps narrow down the possibilities.

Just a suggestion, but wouldn't it be more practical to have the furnaces from InfiBlocks have additional effects too. I mean, not only should they look different, but they should have additional functions too.
Some examples of what I mean:
Iron Furnace-Being made out of Iron, would heat up quicker, effectively increasing the efficiency of fuel used in it.
Redstone Furnace-Should give off a redstone signal when smelting something or when done, not sure which would be better.
Glowstone Furnace-Glows, of course.
Obsidian Furnace- Considering that Obsidian is made from lava in the game, wouldn't it make sense if it increased the number of item smelt-able for a single fuel piece as it should keep more heat inside than a standard stone furnace?
True, maybe even for the obsidian furnace it mantains heat longer. i.e. you put four wooden planks in, instead it acts double or even TRIPLE because it is made out of obsidianMy post was like what you said but just changed a bit, because it could act both ways.

As soon as i entered the nether i crashed, seems to be related to corruptor blocks.
Try putting only ModLoader and NotEnoughItem on and then try the Nether portal.
I don't get the new crusher and grinder. The 4 way arrow thing on the right side of the GUI makes me think that they would drop the products into nearby chests, but they don't. And since they have no output slot, all the stuff just gets dumped on the ground. Do I need to use buildcraft pipes to make them work properly?
Ok, what the hell am I doing wrong that grindstone and paper dust aren't working? Seriously, I've tried full clean installs I don't know how many times, and it doesn't work. I have the updated Ore Processing mod loaded, doesn't work. I also can't get treecapitator to work, but that's a separate matter.

The dust paper stuff has nothing to do with the grindstone, or orizon/ore processing. What exactly are you trying to do?

You may want to take a look at your version of Orizon if nothing else is conflicting. Also, I would see if disabling the corrupter block fixed it (set the id to 0).
The idea with the iron furnace is already in industrialcraft 2, and it would be nice if the inficraft furnace had the same effect as the IC2 furnace.
Seconded. I also like the various ideas for the furnaces, seeing as how it does raise the cost significantly for only aesthetic reasons.
Granted, I'd much rather see the other changes mDiyo has planned first.

I have the updated Ore Processing mod loaded, doesn't work. I also can't get treecapitator to work, but that's a separate matter.
I would say the first place to check would be conflicting item ids. While I haven't had this particular issue, I've had a few others where IDs conflicted and caused weird recipe breakage. Also, I don't believe the grindstone is in the Ore processing addon, so I would double check your versions for the others mods (can't recall which one its a part of). Are you using the clean jar folder, or are you doing a custom install?
Either my brain is refusing to work right, or something else is wrong with me. Could someone give me an in depth explanation of which ID's to skip over in the 4096 fix and why? My brain hurts trying to figure out why.
I understand avoiding ID's 256-385 for the items and 2256-2266 for the music discs, but why do I have to "avoid IDs lower than 3840 for items for obvious reasons." What are those reasons?
mDiyo, can you make an electric grinder and crush that uses electricity from IC2? Please... and also, could you make the copper and tin dust in inficraft usable in the same reciepies

Thanks for any help
True, maybe even for the obsidian furnace it mantains heat longer. i.e. you put four wooden planks in, instead it acts double or even TRIPLE because it is made out of obsidianMy post was like what you said but just changed a bit, because it could act both ways. Try putting only ModLoader and NotEnoughItem on and then try the Nether portal.
You don't say...
The idea with the iron furnace is already in industrialcraft 2, and it would be nice if the inficraft furnace had the same effect as the IC2 furnace.
The dust paper stuff has nothing to do with the grindstone, or orizon/ore processing. What exactly are you trying to do?
You may want to take a look at your version of Orizon if nothing else is conflicting. Also, I would see if disabling the corrupter block fixed it (set the id to 0).
Seconded. I also like the various ideas for the furnaces, seeing as how it does raise the cost significantly for only aesthetic reasons.
Granted, I'd much rather see the other changes mDiyo has planned first.
Have a bukkit server for 1.0.5 for 2x2extended infitools but the mod is now 1.0.7.
Same for Orizon.
I understand avoiding ID's 256-385 for the items and 2256-2266 for the music discs, but why do I have to "avoid IDs lower than 3840 for items for obvious reasons." What are those reasons?
Can't take it!!!
