I am sure that you have heard this many times before, but it bears repeating, Awesome series of mods!!! I personally use the modpack and love the flavor it adds to the vanilla game, exploring, crafting and mining have taken on a whole new life since installing your mods
Only one thing is lacking . . . Being accustomed to using a high-res (64X64) texture pack that my wife and i collaborated on, your graphics look a tad bit out of place in contrast to the rest of our world.
If i were considering creating a high-res version (probably a mixture of photo samples and hand-drawn images) of the textures used in your mods, what would be the possibility of your cooperation by supplying copies of your texture files that are labeled so that i can see precisely which block is which?
xmrmillerx: If you want to, you can get on a server, put some naturally generating block IDs above 255, and wait. The error takes anywhere from 30 seconds to an hour to rear its ugly head.
wheaties98: Nope, overwrite it with whatever you want.
mat18200: Because I have better things in store.
pantere: First thing's first, the textures are already in the mod zips. It should be fairly obvious if you open them up and poke around. Second, you can put mod textures in a texture pack if you match the filenames and folders exactly. Third, if you look at the sprite sheets for tools there's multiple layers of tool heads. Higher up on the spreadsheet is newer, lower is more damaged.
I would love a unified aesthetic for my mods. Right now there's some decent Dokucraft sprites for Orizon and the buckets in InfiTools, and I've made/snatched a few painterly sprites, but there's nothing covering everything just yet.

mDiyo: I am pretty familiar with textures and mods, having done a lot of experimenting with both and running my own server (briefly), i was hoping you could take the guess work out of changing the textures and help prevent any mix-ups. Assuming that you are too busy to (understandable, i myself work 40+ hours a week, have three kids and a grandchild) i will attempt to piece together my own interpretation. In the event that all the information i need is already there and i am just too big of a bonehead to find it, or haven't looked hard enough yet, i will try again
Umm....new question...how does one get the ores out of Calcite? I have like 20 Sphalerite Ore in Calcite...and it's completely useless....I cant even Furnace it....
Edit: Also tried the Crusher and Grinder...didn't work....
Double Edit: Had to update...im good now....i really feel and look like an idiot now

Alrighty Diyo, first off, so far the server and clients are working perfectly have 6 or so people running around with all the mods I posted a bit prior.
I do have one question for you though, the Grinder and Crusher are A: Half-Blocks now, they look like slabs, B: Their GUI seems different, did you change it? Right now it has a holding area on the left, and a cross on the right and it just vomits items out the top.
The problem with this is well...a obviously it's less convenient, the second problem, is buildcraft pipes don't seem to work on them, connecting the pipes directly to it, or not the pipes just don't interact with the machines.
Putting the final touches on the Orizon dimension right now. Expect a release later today.
pantere: Just open up any of my mod's zips and poke around. I guarantee you'll find what you're looking for.
Darktone: I don't use BuildCraft in any way, shape, or form, as it entirely breaks the experience for me. The crusher and grinder are still just placeholders until I can hook them up to mechanical power; the old versions were crashing people. Honestly, is it so hard to put a bunch of ores in the side and make sure to come back when it's done?

Manningliu: Infi2x2 is outdated, update it please. ^^;;
Balthasarx: There's starting to be enough of these that I feel I should be organizing them. Would you mind if I zipped them all up and had them on the OP that way?
DarkWerr: I'm changing the defaults in Orizon's config to disable much of the overworld generation. It won't affect current configs, and there will be separate config settings for the new dimension.
Naw, not that hard, nor do I mind. Please don't take it as me complaining, I was just curious if it was something planned or not, as they changed after this install and I wasn't sure if I had somehow broken everything.
The new ones just seem a bit wonky stand-alone, not really a problem, they just spew items everywhere and on SMP you get aloooot of phantom items when using it.
To get into the dimension, you need to go to sleep with at least 12 obsidian nearby. This will change. I just promised a release today, and thought I'd leave this here in case I didn't get back to it. Dimensions sure eat up a lot of time, way more than the tools I've been making.
Anything that feels weird, odd, or missing, let me know. This is supposed to be like a dream version of the overworld.
Balthasarx: Nice! Feel free to update those whenever you want, and do post more teasers on the thread. They're nice to see.
Darktone: Ghost items are definitely a bug. I'll fix it as soon as this dimensional stuff is done.
in the Orizon wiki ( which is also inficraft wiki ) the ore has a rarity star. but I don't understand about it. does higher star mean rarer or more abundant?
Yay, I'm pretty sure now I can use InfiCraft again in my SSP worlds without crashes in SMP!
