I can't get the dogs to sit either, they just refuse to do anything but wander.Actually if I wander away from my dogs at all and come back, I can't get them to do anything, I can't even bring up the menu for them.
Tried again, they still won't eat :/
What I mean to say is that I watch them for a bit and occasionally they stand over their food bowls, but their hunger stays the same.
Uh, I don't expect it to be possible or wanted, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's been suggested before, but is it possible to add a skill that lets you control a wolf and use it to scout ahead in certain places?
Kinda like "Eyes of the Beast" from WoW which....has been removed. :-/

I don't see that happening, even in mod form, for a game like minecraft. Now if it was something like Skyrim or WoW, it could be coded in easier.
Raust also doesn't like editing base files and it would seem like a lot of base files would need to be edited for that one skill.
Thanks!
Last question, I read through the humane release portion, but I couldn't understand one thing. If I release, then retrain my dogs, can I reallocate skill points?
my last lion was dead when i got back there. Emerald is in the same pen looking innocent. The only think I can think is as you say its either picking up the attack when they follow me or maybe the big cats are not recognizing the dogs as tamed? The big cats kill other creatures that wander in like the deer so maybe they are attacking the dogs. I will try and get some gold for some more necklaces and try and tame more but it would be great if others could test this too.

No the cats are probably looking for if a creature is part of the tameable class if it is, you're cat won't attack it. If you don't want your dog to attack the cat I would suggest putting it in the docile mode, in that mode they could give no ****s as to whatever happens.

Yes, each slot has 64 stacks of cooked chicken.
Okay, so I sat them all of them over the bowls. Each is at 108 hunger and in wander mode, so do I just wait now?

Yes
They don't seem to path directly onto it for some reason btw, but they will go from a large distance to its general vicinity when they're hungry, so they're bound to step over it while wandering in that area, and they'll get closer if they somehow wander away again. It hasn't failed me yet, though I wish I could figure out why they aren't walking straight onto the food bowl now.
That means you're playing offline when you tamed them online, or vice versa.

Just have them sit on the bowl and nothing else. They should eat.
Just have them sit on the bowl if you do not want them with you. Nothing else, they will take food as needed.

Does the food bowl have food in it?

Their room is a 6x10 square.
Edit: 69 Hunger and none of them are eating...
