Is/was anyone else having an issue when also installing the Better Than Wolves mod with Pokemobs? Going to try and just install pokemobs now to see if its just an issue i'm having.

i believe that pokemobs is not compatible with forge, so that would cause BTW not to work
I noticed a couple bugs. Didn't know if you knew about 'em already. The first is that if I uninstall PokeMobs and install it again, all my pokemon will disappear. There will be those party slots in the lower left corner where the pokemon that were in my party used to be, but there won't be any pokemon in them. The second is that my pokemon on some of my maps will also appear on others. As far as I know, there is no pattern to when it happens.
these aren't bugs. when you uninstalled pokemobs you deleted the cached pokemon. and also pokemon in boxes were made so they can be transfed between worlds

im not sure if im the only one having this problem, but sometimes the pokemon in the first party slot will revert back to the level i caught it at and summon itself without me hitting ctrl+1. it really sucks when you have a lvl 30 ghastly that reverts back to lvl 5

1) replace creepers with voltorb or electabuzz (self destruct)
2) replace endermen with kadabras
3) in 1.9 there are villages generated: mod those to become pokemon towns with a pokecenter with beds and a pokemart for items
4) in 1.9 there are also potions: antidotes, potions, super potions, hyperpotions.
5) light intensity based spawn: ghosts, rats, owls at night, other stuff during day. zubats in caves and dungeons, and such
6)mod the nether to become the digital world with porygons, or just create one
7)create ruin biomes: where the unknowns live
Anyone tried playing PokeMobs with EE and Buildcraft?
i have Equivelant Exchange installed and have no problems, i dont know about buildcraft though, i know that level up plus or watever its called is not compatible, as it modiefies the player class, and sea had to change the player class as well, or something along the lines of that

For your 1) suggestion I don't think he wants to change the mobs already in the game because they would have to have evolutions and it would put others off if they like the mobs but I loved the idea and all the others like the potion one especially I hope sea sees your post ^.^

I have the same problem as you. Well, i guess you have a mod that isn't compatible with PokeMobs? I think for me, it's Minecraft Forge. But, i require it to play mods like EE and BC.

I'm not too fond of the idea of replacing creepers and endermen with pokemon, and Minecraft towns with pokemon towns. I'd like pokemon to exist alongside existing Minecraft mobs, and pokemon towns to exist alongside Minecraft towns. For the potions idea, I like it, as long as the pokemon potions are an addition to the potions already in 1.9, and they don't replace them. Number five is a good idea. Number six is a little much. Creating an entire dimension for just one pokemon? As for seven, as far as I know, this mod is only for the original 151 pokemon, so no unowns.

Myself and two others are setting a SMP server when Pokemobs goes multiplayer (Can't wait!). The goal is for us each to build a town, complete with Gyms, Poke Centers, Marts, houses, etc.
The idea is that, once someone manages to traverse the landscape and beat all three of us, they have earned the right to start their own town, and once completed open up their own Gym. :smile.gif:
Here's the problem though: Our towns would have no people!
We discussed building on already existing towns, but they are so rare and far in between, that it's not really a viable option.
So, is there some way to spawn in NPCs, either in standard MC or in PokeMobs? Is there any chance that this mod will ever again see the Millénaire mod? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That would explain why my world would go 'saving chunks' when i hit something. I have BC and EE installed! It would be awesome if Pokemobs goes forge.
