I think as said on the previous thread, you should make it regional.
So only certain pokemon are found on mountains, only certain pokemon can be found in the water / around beaches, dungeons etc.
Would be epic if you were mining then BOOM you see a diglet or something pop up.

You encounter a pokemon, it may or may not be aggressive, but if you throw one of your existing caught pokemons pokeballs near it, then right click the enemy mob, they start fighting. :3? messy idea.

I am working on health and GUI mechanics right now in order to get taming down to a T. Do you guys think health should be displayed above the pokemons head or no
!!! That sounds fantastic! But its a huge project. Will it include things like pokeballs, humans with pokemons who want fight against you, levelling, attacks etc.?
And why i quoted this post: I imagine a mod that adds 649 Pokemons to the game...all things included like pokeballs, cities, levelling, all the things that remember me to the time when i played Pokemon on my Gameboy Color...xD

I REALLY like this mod already, but I am waiting for it to get bigger until I download it (pokeballs, my ideas, etc)
As you saw I put "my ideas" there. This is what I thought of:
You can only catch 6 pokemon at a time and keep them with you, and if you catch more, it is sent to your "box". You could make a PC with redstone, iron, and maybe buttons, and you could place it in your house until pokecenters are made.
Otherwise, People would have to make WAY to many chests to hold all their pokemon :mellow.gif:
Also, for the battle moves, you could have it so you can only send out 1 at a time, and if you right click, or if your pokemon levels up, you would see it's health and moves. If it would learn a new move, you could just double click a move, and say "yes" to a popup that makes sure you want to change that move.
I'm not saying add EVERY move for EVERY level-up, but you could have them level up to 50 (legends spawning at 40), and have them get their most useful or well-known moves.
Also, if you want, I could do some models for you, but I could probably not animate them, and not too complicated of models, but they would be sent textured for you :smile.gif:
i love this i am a HUGE and i mean HUGE fan of pokemon and i will be an awesome tester i can test compatibility with other mods and also by itself if there are any bugs ill find them so pm if you need help with testing and if you dont need my help i will still download the thing and im downlaoding teaser pack right now
Here is an idea.... Use a Pokedex to track the health and status of your Pokemon. you can also use the Pokedex to give commands to your Pokemon. Like left clicking is one attack right click another and middle click does something else.

But that tells you all the moves all pokemon have, what levels they get it at, how fast they level, everything.
