Yeah, the main problem is lack of motivation for me as opposed to time. Right now I have plenty of spare time where I could be developing this but instead I much prefer to load up DotA 2 to have a game. There doesn't seem to be too much demand for this mod, my inbox used to be spammed constantly with people asking for it to be in modpacks. When I do update I get the tinyest spike in downloads then it drops really low again. I'll still push an update, but right now I don't have much reason to get it out fast. Maybe if people donated, or did decent showcases, just proved to me that there is demand, then I would probably be more motivated.
I would include this in my Modpack if it was for 1.6.2 and would do a showcase if it was for 1.6.2
This mod looks so cool!! I might have to make a profile for 1.5.X to use it, (unless by the time I get around to trying out the mod loading process you have the 1.6.x update ready. lol) I've seen 1 or 2 mod reviews (one of them by SkydoesMinecraft) and it looks like a lot of fun!

Pokemon X and Y are taking up a decent chunk of time but my lectures have given me some good progress on this mod, I hope to push an update this week but please don't hold me to that

I see your working on this! I was worried for a while that the whole mod had been dropped! When this updates to 1.6.4, I will definitely be downloading it!
Keep it up I remember when it was for I dont know 'The official game release' 1.0 I think, couldnt download it Didnt have forge or modloader. but i remember I loved it now I Do have forge or mod loader and see [1.5.1] fuuuuuuUUUU! Update from dev again: At uni now! Free time (at the moment) is drastically increased since as you could probably guess I don't need to cover the programming material much. Setting up dev environments as I type this and I'll try to push out an update within the upcoming weeks. I know there is a demand for this mod, and sometimes it has just felt like a chore, but my java skills are getting rusty and that's the bulk of my computer science course. This will become more of a project for me to keep way ahead of everyone else
Keep giving me ideas for these creepers, I've seen a few I've liked and hopefully the next update can be a biggy. A lot of ideas, with my current creeper code-base, would be really quite simple to implement. The random creeper idea is a favourite and I will definitely try getting one of those in (never tried switching models dynamically in minecraft, I'm hoping it doesn't cause yet more bugs).
EDIT: Starting an update right now during a lecture and it seems that yet again the entity code base has been brutally murdered with a whole new attribute redesign that will require huge amounts of changes and hacks in things like friendly creepers, especially since they're already a hack between evil mobs and tameable friendlies. It may become another update where I temporarily remove friendly creepers due to bugs/time limitations.

i have an idea, maby a creeper that is random, and you don't know what it is until it explodes, but a high chance of it being a cookie creeper, and (in normal and hard mode) it can even be a charged creeper
Hey sorry to bug you but I just had an idea. Friendly creepers are a little bit of a hassle for me. When I was using your latest version, they were everywhere and it was hard to fight the other creepers and mobs without hitting the friendly creepers which just made them all go nuts. I think an option to shut off friendly creepers, or a setting for each creeper would be cool. Or if you had the time, a setting to adjust the spawn rate. But I would like a setting so they don't spawn. But so far, the mod is pretty awesome! I love it! Keep up the good work!
P.S. I think ideas for new creepers could be ender creepers (The teleporting behavior remains the same but instead of hitting you and increased speed, they just explode.), jumpy/slime creepers (Have jump boost and maybe drop slimeballs when killed.) and ice creepers(like glowstone and dirt creeper but with ice blocks.)?
Can you please update it to 1.5.2? This is my first mod I've ever used and had it since 1.2.5 but now I'm in 1.5.2 and it just crashes when I try to install the 1.5.1 file in my 1.5.2.
How selfish... Derp, I want people to make fun mods for me but I cant wait 5 seconds and giving something back to the man who worked so hard on the mod!

the magmar creeper only spawns in the nether so he cant destroy all your stuff
