More ideas:
Vampire creeper (not like aimanaimar's): Dark purple. If its explosion damages a target, it lives on and completely regenerates its health. If there are no entities in its radius, then it will simply 'explode' harmlessly and die.
Aura creeper: Light blue and white eyes/mouth. Simply being near it causes bad things to happen. You take double damage from anything else. Does not explode, and has three times the health of a regular creeper.
Camo creeper: Grass green with dark green patches. Spawns on dark dirt/grass. Completely invisible on grass, and can see you from further places. Visible when moving. Moves slower and has weaker explosion.
Runner creeper: Brownish grey. It sets its fuse about ten blocks away and then runs incredibly fast, like a charge. It won't turn, and it will explode after 20 blocks or on contact with player. Will not charge when player is too close, and will simply act like a regular creeper.
Glass creeper: Transparent except for white face. Will explode into a dome of glass.
Blind creeper: A regular creeper, but without eyes. Will explode on the slightest bit of stimuli, any damage or contact with entities other than themselves.
Regular creepers ideas:
Fire creepers take damage to rain and water. They should also spawn in the nether.
Dark creepers will appear more commonly in dark places.
Electric creepers appear more common in thunderstorms.
Fake illusion creepers move only SLIGHTLY slower, to help distinguish which one is real without using some other kind of mod.
Magma creepers take damage from water and rain, but because they're in the Nether, they don't.
Ice creepers die the instant they are in lava or fire.
Light creepers should also spawn in the nether, and be fireproof.
Water creepers cannot drown.
Psychic creepers move slower than usual and are immune to knockback.

Food Creepers: When explodes, spawns all sorts of food. Has textures of steak
Mushroom Creepers: Spawns a bunch of mushrooms. On rare occasions spawns a mooshroom. Mushroom texture
Huge Mushroom Creepers: Spawns huge mushrooms and 5 mooshrooms. Same with original, but bigger.
Multi-Creeper: When explodes, spawns up to 10 random creepers (Elemental ones and original). Has two heads.
Nether Creeper: Makes every block within its radius to become netherrack, and spawn a nether portal. A netherrack texture creeper with magma-like particles being emmited from them.
Ender Creeper: Makes everything within its radius obsidian, and makes a wall of obsidian around it. Looks like an enderman.
Minecart Creeper: Leves a trail of rails behind (Depending on type of rail creeper). When explodes, leaves a bunch of randomly-placed rails, and a minecart. Looks like a creeper with all rails covering it.
Nuclear Creeper: Makes an explosion four times larger than normal. It's red...
Village Creeper: Spawns a villager and any building in an NPC village. Looks like a villager in a green robe.
Opposite Creeper: Turns the blocks in the radius to the complete oppsite. (Example: Grass would become dirt.) A creeper with a white side, and a side with black.
Color Creeper: Turns every block within the radius to a random color. Its a rainbow Creeper.
Random Creeper: Has a random effect in the explosion, coming from any other elemental creeper. It looks like a grey creeper with a white "?".
All Creeper: Spawns all elemental creepers when explodes. Looks like an obsidian creeper with a black hole on the stomach.
New creeper Idea: Redstone Creeper - When Explodes, it sends off a redstone signal in it's radius /or/ when it explodes, Redstone spreads on the ground In its radius Skin: Glowing red skin
A shame. I love this mod very much. But it seems the owner wants nothing to do with fixing the server problem that he claims is not there. For we ppl that want this mod for server you NEED to UPDATE the "Client (For SMP)" .jar file! It won't let us on the server.. everything IS pointing to it being 1.2.4. PLZ FIX THIS!

No, you would require Spawner GUI (with TMI or SPC) or Single Player Commands.
I'm guessing the maker of this mod won't make it, I like Nova's idea though.
Because that adds items. I'm guessing the maker will stick with adding mobs.
you could try not enough items. the spawners for all the mobs show up.
be aware you gotta remove tmi for nei to work.
