If all else fails, backup your saves, delete your .minecraft, then install the Aether mod and prerequisites and nothing else. If it still doesn't work, then post again.

To anyone having trouble with Adfly surveys: Click the download link and use your browser's "Stop" button to stop the survey before it loads. It will let you hit the skip button then :smile.gif:
To anyone who's lost their lore book: you can get another one from dungeons, although the only dungeon I've found that specific one in is gold...
To anyone using TMI or SPC: Seriously this mod is worth not cheating in. It gives much satisfaction playing legit and on normal mode. Give it a try. Take the challenge and I bet you'll have loads of fun.
To the creators: epic job and stuff. Concerns:
- My portal is in the middle of the air and I had to use over a stack of blocks to be able to reach land. I died 5 times from being knocked off the edge by mobs while trying to create a bridge.
- I have multiple Moa eggs but... still can't find any poison plants :sad.gif:
- I ran into a silver dungeon that couldn't be completed - there were no stairs and I couldn't mine my way into the next rooms. Also, if a Valkyrie or multiple Valkyries spawn on you while you're already fighting one and you hit them... bad things happen.
- Where does Gravite spawn? I haven't seen a single block of it.
- I got a cloak of invisibility from a chest... What the heck does it do? Mobs can still see me and attack at will, and I can't open chests while wearing it. (it just closes the chest GUI instantly).
- If items fall off the edge (Example: recently died near a cliff and half my items went over...), are they gone for good? I tried searching for them on the Earth, but to no avail. I lost my original lore book and one of my two Vampire Blades among other items :sad.gif:
- Bronze dungeons are pretty common, but have a decent challenge rating for being the lowest level dungeon. Silver dungeons are by far the most difficult and dangerous. The gold dungeon was more difficult than the bronze, but not even close to what I expected due to the silver's difficulty. (Protip: Use a Hammer of Notch when fighting the silver's boss. It can even hit something behind you ! O.o ! Is it supposed to do that?)

Can you guys plz lower the spawn rate of those thing that shoots snowballs and knock you back and up the spawn rate on other stuff nothing really spawing only like 2 things
I am verry sorry but i have tryed to use just the aether mod and all of its dependancys but when i break a block not a single item drops!
i have waited for months and now am angry and upset cant use it.
I installed it as per-usual but i get this bug.
I deleted META-INF starded from a clean jar but nothing.
my worlds load fine but i cannot get a block if i break it (not even dirt works)

There's something that's happened a few times now; if I'm just about to die (boss fight, falling, etc) and I hit esc, go to title screen and reload the world, it carries on where I left off but when I respawn everything is still in my inventory...

I have everything closed except for my appdata folder and my internet. Restart computer?
I suggest using a Zanite Axe.
Had the same problem. Try switching to default/low resolution texture packs, worked for me to fix the lag.
