On my first trip to the Aether, Moas Jumped me and shot me with posion arrows. Is this a glitch? Also, Golden root Trees didn't drop golden ors or golden root tree blocks.

None of these are Glitches- thoes are the Evil Moas which are hostile. And Golden Root can only be broken with Gravitite or the Purple gem like one
Is anyone else having trouble getting into the Aether? I Step into the glowstone portal and it greets me with an infinite 'Building Terrain' screen. I realize many people will be having trouble, but i just want to know if im alone with this one.

If you jump off the aether (or fall) and hold shift, You take no fall damage.
I accidently used an outdated version- *Forgot which- It ran. but I got your exact problem
