Hi, I have a suggestion, could enable Entities radar with SMP by default? and if the server admin does not want players to have the minimap or disable some function, you can install your mod in the server and the configuration file to be able to put things want to be able to have the mod on or turning off completely.
I think it would be easier for players who are new and could be controlled but the servers do not want to be active the minimap.
where there are no servers for the exit of the maze and have the minimap gives a huge advantage in a competition.
I do not know if this understanding as I explained it wrong in Spanish with English'm worse xD
basically if you want to restrict the use of your mod or part thereof, which is to be installed on the server for more control over the mod.
I think the smart moving used this system to control things that players can do. eg the trick to run very fast, if you install the smart moving in the server you can disable the option to run very fast
I hope I explained well and sorry my bad English, the translator does not translate exactly as I want ...
Greetings
That's a bad idea in my opinion. The entities radar is kindof a "cheating option". It is and should be disabled by default. I do not want servers to be forced to install a mod on their server to disable it.
Ok, so I tried both Rei's and Zan's Minimaps, and both disable all the sound from the 'resources' folder. I'm assuming this is a bug with 1.5, because I never had that problem with previous Minecraft versions.
Great amazing mod but is there any way to teleport to waypoints, if not that would be an amazing addition.
There is. In the command line type /tp [yourname] [x y z]
x, y, and z = the coordinates of the waypoint you set. This is a normal vanilla Minecraft command. Since you can see what the coordinates of the waypoints are you can easily teleport there using the built in command.

This requires "Cheats" to be enabled. In most survival worlds, this isn't enabled as people want to play legitimately.
I have that glitch on all but one of my waypoints. The one that works was one that was present before the upgrade and I've added some since, so it doesn't look like it's a version thing.

This is a known bug. Starting on a brand-new single-player world, the first waypoint shows up, and all others are "blurry", so no. It's not a version thing. It's a bug.
1.5.1 is due out soon, so I believe he is waiting for this bug-fix version before releasing a fix.
No, Optifine doesn't help. Rei needs to fix that bug. All we can do is work around it, until then.

How would I go about doing that/how do you open .DIM0/1/2 files?
Edit: Think I found a solution.. POINTS file, not .dim lol. I'm blind.

All I have is modloader and Rei's minimap installed all for 1.5.
Otherwise, this is still a great foundational mod for me at least... next to MCPatcher and OptiFine XD
A trillion thanks and a few coins in your coffers!

Make sure to delete the META-INF folder in your .jar, if you are installing this mod directly into your .jar file.
