How to Enable Cave mapping / Entities radar on SMP
Cave mapping and entities radar of the SMP is disabled by default.
When the server owner (using bukkitplugin/other) sets the key word to motd(login message), they become effective.
Please set the keyword to motd referring to the following.

Basically all people are is yelling at me saying that cavemapping should be put in.
You cant change my opinion or make me feel bad cuz you yelled at me for something i do not want.
As Rei posted in his post, post your suggestions, what i said is MY suggestion. So go get a life and stop yelling at people opinions. Cavemapping in my eyes is ****ing cheating in both single and multiplayer.
How gorram hard is it for people to scroll through the last couple of pages before asking for this to be updated? Or the half-dozen posts before theirs?

Hey to all the ones screaming for an update to this mod just because MC was updated to 1.2.5. STOP thinking you're entitled to an update! And show some patience... With the recent storms here in the USA <snow to tornadoes> across multiple states this past week it's possible that Rei is in an area that got hit by them storms and without internet service at this time.
But also it could be that he has a LIFE besides making nods for MC!

This is a great mod with a lot of useful features! There's one problem I've been having, though.
If I set a waypoint and move ~8000 blocks or more away, I can only see the marker/label/distance if I don't look directly toward it.
For example, I set a waypoint at default spawn and moved 9500m directly South. I can see "Default Spawn [9500.00 m]" but only if I avoid looking directly North. I'm not really sure why that is.
Can someone help me out here.. I'm certain it's been answered somewhere in the ~150 pages but thems a lot of pages to hunt through... when using the entities, e.g.:
-Where- can this go in the server config file after MOTD?
Does it have to be at the beginning of the MOTD, does it have to supplant the MOTD or can I put it at "MOTD=&0&0&2&e&f Welcome to the Minecraft Server!" or does it have to be the -only- thing present in the MOTD? Can I put it at the -end- of the MOTD like so: "MOTD=Welcome to the Minecraft Server! &0&0&2&e&f"
Where does it have to go, what limitations are there are the location? None of this is described in the OP or the first page postings, any help would be appreciated!
Any chance of adding a map legend... Which colors mean what which mode is displaying what. Yes I see the obvious topo map, and even the cave map. There is a third though that shows dots all over the place of various colors. What does each color mean?
Do the dots refer to entities such as creepers or blocks such as gold and diamond?
Can someone help me out here.. I'm certain it's been answered somewhere in the ~150 pages but thems a lot of pages to hunt through... when using the entities, e.g.:
All I want is the player, ie "&0&0&2&e&f"

u r doing this in the server.properties file right ? so no it doesnt go there it goes in the motd.txt file if u have essentials is in /plugins/essentials/motd.txt if u have vanilla i think u just put a txt file in the main server folder called motd.txt im not sure about this last thing since i have essentials let me know if it works
