Where are waypoints saved to? I would like to be able to load up waypoints in different worlds that use the same seed, like I could do with Zan's Minimap.
The cave mapping is a bit confusing to me. Could anyone explain it a bit? Does it show unexplored caves and what not? Seems like its showing some small unexplored cave areas but not all of them. How does the color play into it?
Just two questions;1) Where do you get the textures from at the display of the map (for example, the grass, sand, tree leaves, etc. from above)? Or are they pre-coded?2) More a suggestion, really. Is it possible to add support for custom textures (texture packs)?EDIT: Oh I spotted a blockcolor.txt in the ...\mods\rei_minimap\. So that means if I want to change the colours on the map I have to edit them all manually... hmm, well, again, would you like to support custom textures in a more friendly way? Cave mapping does not display a cavity without a light.
Therefore the untrodden cave where I do not put up a torch is not displayed basically.
However, the cave with lights such as the lava is displayed.

Hey, I got a major question... Can I use CJB Mods and your minimap at the same time? In other words, are they compatible? I really like the way this minimap is rendered (in an awesome 3D-HD-ish way) but I really use a lot CJB Mods...
In case anyone hasn't seen the CJB minimap, it renders in 2D with very blocky graphics, but it can tell you where are players, passive mobs, aggresive mobs and other entities, as well as drops, north, south, east, west and coordinates relative to the bottom layer.

Can you add webURLs to the IP list tracking such as play.ProjectCraft.net , If I used the numerical IP address, it works for the way point savings, but if I use the webURL such as play.ProjectCraft.net it will save the waypoint for the current session, but I press disconnect, they are not saved.
Add support for Improved Chat please, I want to use both but right now I'm forced to use Zan's Minimap since only that works with Improved Chat...
It works fine with improved chat, your problem is that you are using the uq.class from Rei's minimap where if you use modloader you can leave that class out. If you install it like this there is no conflict with improved chat.

When you say waypoints are workable on the square map, do you mean the map you can craft?
It is a minimap displayed on not the map made with paper and the compass but the screen.
The minimap can switch the square to the circle by the setting.

Recently I've been working on a new project that allows people to install all the best minecraft mods with a few clicks, It runs on a modified version of the Yogbox's installer. Currently it contains a multitude of selected mods that I believe add to the game without deriving away from the vanilla aspect of minecraft, as well as other fun mods such as yours as optional installs. Many people have requested your mod be added to the mod-pack but I wanted to ask for your consent before doing so. I anticipate your response.
I totally understand with the hundreds of hours that you and other mod creators put into your work you definitely deserve to be payed for the download of your mod in the pack like from your thread. For my old packs like for planes i've always used adf.ly and then sent the money back to flan but i've found that adf.ly isnt exactly truthful in its payout because when i compare the amount of downloads of the file to the number of passes through adf.ly their recorded number is WAY lower.
Because of this and other reasons i've decided to instantiate an ad page sorda like adf.ly but just with adsense ads.
So far i've just put ads from my own adsense account and i'm sending the money from them to the mod creators that have asked for it like flan i have to check with alblaka and DrZhark is still undecided but if you would rather i could put your own ads in there so you know for sure your getting 100% of it.
Also from the few days of testing this method the payout has been WAY WAY higher than adf.ly

When I thought from the server side, I thought that I should disable by default Cavemap/EntitiesRadar.
And this thought does not change.
