It's so sad how these people are so impatient with waiting for mods to update that they are so rude and disrespectful that they forget that the modders have a life and they don't just sit at their computers all day updating mods.
Honestly I don't want people to think I'm not pouring as much time as I can into the updates, I always strive to get things done as quickly as humanly possible and this update is no exception, I had just hoped that people would realise that if it's taking longer than usual it's for a reason, and not because I'm lazy or ignoring people. At the same time I do have other things to deal with and try to portion my time out as best I can. Anyone who's been a regular follower of my thread for any length of time will know that I have a ridiculous amount of things going on all the time and try to balance them against each other.
Thanks for the people who made understanding posts though, it makes it much more bearable to realise that there are people who can appreciate the reality of the whole thing. Honestly if we let minecraft rule our lives then what kind of people are we?

wow! thats a nice script o.o
As mumfrey said i use it for things like /jump in my middle mouse, or /home in a key, well i also use it with ChatFilter to change prefixes and stuff from the chat with a GUI and such... Gotta say... chatfilter makes you chat look so perfect.. why? because you can change it to w.e you want to make it look awesome to your eyes.
<whispers in really low voice> i love you mumfrey<3
Holy crap, the... whe...? er... you did that with macros?
I just wrote this mod because I was sick of typing /home all the time. That's just... I don't even.
Yeah... =)
Right now I'm working on syncing up multiple "bots" via in-game chat, and I hope to be able to script it so that the main person can automatically transscribe recordings they did to a "bot" through whispers so they don't even have to have physical control of it or change windows constantly.
Yeah... =)

So you're basically making a mod... with my mod? That's so meta.

Unless you have been given express permission to post any modifications to the code in advance, if you are not the original maker (Mumfrey) of any of the mods discussed in this thread, please do not, under any circumstances, redistribute any of the original creators' mods, in part or in whole, regardless of the reason.
It causes much confusion and creates a mess within the thread when there are a bundle of unofficial updates taking place alongside official discussions.
That's not a real version of liteloader I suggest you delete it. It's not compiled properly and seems to be missing a bunch of the new API,
Dont worry, as soon as I found out it wasn't legit I deleted it
I only tried it out to see if the original macro mod might've worked with an 'updated' liteloader (I assumed the actual macro mod is virtually the same coding. It just needs a different way of being 'loaded' into Minecraft)
Since it didn't work - I assumed they both needed to be updated together so deleted them straight away
very nice, I added a little extra to have playback tppos to initial record location so its always exact. (could use /sethome and /home )
Yup, I've been busy refining it today for our needs. Added /sethome and /home.
The script now records WASD, Space, Lshift, Q, left and right mouse, and head position. And it can read the incoming chat for commands from the "director".
Check video and video description for more information. (script sources are listed in the video description) =)
NOTE: Not a video for the mod, this is a video for scripts I made for use inside of the mod.
The global variables YAW and PITCH are working fine? Because when I get these values and use in LOOK(YAW,PITCH,TIME) the player looks to another position...

This isn't a problem with the vars it's just a weird thing with minecraft. With minecraft the 0 value for YAW points SOUTH, however the LOOK function takes a YAW value where 0 points NORTH (yes I know it was a dumb decision but it seemed to make sense at the time). I forgot that YAW pointed south when I implemented LOOK.
Basically to convert from YAW -> LOOK you need to add 180.
Kind of a noob question but if I wanted to make a script with auto announcments in chat would I use the console command 'say'? If not what would I use?

You must use
if(announcer);
toggle(announcer);
else;
toggle(announcer);
do;
echo("announcement");
wait(120); //Delay between announcements in seconds or in ms example: 5300ms (5,3 seconds)
while(announcer);
endif;

'Cause tomorrow spring is here
I've successfully created scripts to semi-accurately record and playback movements. Will save an incredible amount of time with our filming.
I'll post the finished scripts here when I'm done, there are a few features I want to add first.

Seemed easier. Wouldn't even know where to begin to make a mod.

Indeed, that's the whole point of this mod. I'm just constantly surprised with the things people find to do with it all the same.
Oh, and I warned people that that is an unofficial build, too...
yeah, I have a life too.

They are saved to file, if you wanted multiple animations you could just use different arrays.
