Survival Wings
This mod adds craftable wings that let you fly in survival mode. They are equipped in the chest equipment slot, but offer very little protection. They also degrade the more you fly.

Text Formatting
This mod allows you to put colored and formatted text on signs, books, and command blocks! It works on single player (and multiplayer, if the server has the mod).
Do you have to download the client? I really like the colored sign mod.
I'm not sure I understand what you are asking. :tongue.gif:
You need to download the client version if you want to be able to add colors yourself. Other people can see it fine without the mod.
Sadly, if you want to use it on SMP (successfully), the server has to install a small mod that adds one line of code to one file. :tongue.gif:
Finally added two more. One of them is a Third Person Camera, and the other is Named Entity Labels. (The latter wasn't actually that hard. :tongue.gif:)
But how do you mod bukkit jar? Where do we drop the file and do we delete the meta inf there too?
O_____O
Yep, drop it in net/minecraft/server.
I don't think you need to delete the META-INF. I haven't tested it recently (since it's already up to date :tongue.gif:).
The best mods out there. My only suggestion is maybe move the bottom for the change texture packs into the options menu, as many other mods add to or edit that menu and buttons get pushed off screen.
PS.: MCP has been updated. Have you seen how much people have been spamming those famous mod's topic's for the creators to update?! o-O It madness!
So anyway, I eagerly await for you to update your mods. But I'm patient so you don't have to hurry. :wink.gif:
Thanks for telling me. :smile.gif:
I must be a nobody. My thread doesn't get spammed at all. :tongue.gif: (Post count of 16.)
hey im having a problem with control change because i dont have a numberpad (laptop)and im trying to change the keys. when i open the control menu, i have to change gui scale to tiny in fullscreen, and yet the done button completely overlaps the numpad8 button.

any suggestions? :\
It looks like it does it no matter what the GUI scale is...
You could edit your options.txt manually. Near the bottom, there are things like:
key_NUMPAD8:72
key_NUMPAD7:71
key_NUMPAD4:75
.....
key_NUMPAD6:77
key_NUMPAD9:73
key_ADD:78
Each number would be a key code, each corresponding to something on here. I'm guessing you could just edit those, to get the other keys to work.
List tags are malformed.
I love the in-game texture pack selection, very convenient! However, I did spot one problem; the biome colors don't display correctly until the chunks are refreshed. While this is simple to fix manually by switching the render distance, I'd assume it'd be pretty easy to have the mod automatically force a refresh when a new pack is selected. If you could do that, it would be perfect!

That's weird. Next time I work on this, I'll take a look at that. :smile.gif:
Hey, I was interested in the third person mod.
I like to take screenshots a lot, and I noticed that you said you have to use the Number pad.
Problem is, I don't have a number pad, I'm on a laptop and I only have the top row of numbers.
Apparently, it lets you change them on the controls page. (I didn't know this until someone asked me about it. :tongue.gif:) There is a problem with the confirm button covering a few buttons, though, so you could try this:
I like your Sign-Mod. But can you make a special-version where you change the § in a & character? I don't like modifying the bukkit.jar.
Thanks
I could, but I'm not on the right computer. :sad.gif:
My main computer (which has all my MC programming stuff) is acting really funny (and not in a good way :tongue.gif:). It's kinda hard to explain.
I could set up on this computer too, as this was the computer I first started modding on (Anyone remember my old sponge mod? :tongue.gif:), but I don't have the sign colors code on here.
(Unrelated)
I have more ideas for mods. One of them I'd like to eventually do would be a huge overhaul of the third person camera system. But that would take a while.
Another is to change the poem-type-thing before the credits, after you beat the dragon in the End. It seems too... I'm not sure what the right word is. :tongue.gif: The only words I can come up with sound more negative than I mean it.
I'll probably make it more biblically-based.

You install it like any other mod. Just drop the files in your MC jar, and delete the META-INF folder1.
1. On Macs you delete the MOJANG_C.* files in the META-INF folder, I think.
(Ok, not that hard, but I'm bored. :tongue.gif:)
helped me so much, and it just works so well :smile.gif:

Yes, but it doesn't look like MCP is updated to 1.8.
At least, as far as I know. :tongue.gif:
Also, Named Entity Labels makes the entity labels actually show up again with F3. Yay!
Thanks for telling me. :smile.gif:

Not compared to some of the other topics. :tongue.gif:

"Wait... is this a hole? It looks like a hole...When did this hole get here?" The greatest thing I've muttered while playing minecraft.

They don't have the actual uses listed, like the other keys, so you'll have to use the reference on my website for that.
If that doesn't work... I guess I'll have to make a non-number-pad version. :tongue.gif:
