I decided I would like to have a central place to display all of my mods, and so I created this topic. Unfortunately, nobody wants to look at a topic named "XXX's Mods", as shown by my newest mod getting 1 download in 24 hours when posted just here as opposed to 20 downloads in 5 minutes when given its own topic. So, for the sake of actually getting my mods seen, I will be posting new topics for more than I had planned. However, I will try to keep this area updated as well.
I have split the mods into two categories for convenience - modloader and non-modloader. General installation instructions are at the bottom of the post, with anything more specific in the actual mod description. Please make sure to back up your saves and minecraft .jar before installing any mods, as I will not be held responsible for damaged save files/computers/etc. (you should do this before installing other peoples' mods too!).
One last thing - mods that are linked have their own topic posted. That topic will likely be more up to date than what is contained here, so please make sure you're getting the current version. It would also be great if you could post things pertaining to those mods in their topics. Other than that, I hope people like some of these, and happy mining!
A quick note about updating (11/21/2011):
Due to time constraints from a large class load (which probably won't let up until I've graduated), I am not currently updating these mods. As such, I would like to give permission to anyone who would like to update these mods with the following conditions:
No profits are to be made from updated versions (that includes adfly).
Credit must be given, please don't try to claim them as your own.
Please provide a link to this topic somewhere in your post. It doesn't have to be prominent or big, I would just like it there.
Send me a PM with a link to your updated version - I'm not saying you have to wait for my approval (I might not be around much), but I'd like to be able to find the current versions.
If I request it, I ask that you either stop updating, or remove links to mods that you have updated. This is primarily in case I come back and start updating again. If you have already updated to the current version, I will wait until the next version of minecraft has been released to resume my own updates.
I reserve the right to disallow anyone from working with my mods - such as those who tried to steal them prior to me adding this notice.
Support my projects! :biggrin.gif:
Modloader
All mods in this section require the current version of Risugami's Modloader.
This is a mod that synchronizes Minecraft's time with your computer's time. 8:00 AM real time corresponds to when the sun is fully up in Minecraft, and 8:00 PM (20:00) corresponds to when the sun is fully down. You can even move through the minecraft day by setting your computer clock.
New in version 1.1
To toggle between realistic and game time press "v". This key is configurable via the in-game options.
New in version 1.2
Beds work! Using a bed while the realistic time mod is active (must be toggled on) will toggle between day/night and set your spawn point. Using a bed while the mod is inactive will work normally. Note that I had to modify the BlockBed class (ve.class) in order to make this work, if another mod uses that class (or if you don't want this new feature), you can simply not use my modified version. All other features will work correctly.
Changes
7/29/2011 - Added bed functionality
7/22/2011 - Added a toggle key for switching between realistic and game time. Default is "v".
7/16/2011 - Overhauled method of modifying game time, Fixed redstone bugs
Non-modloader
These mods will not require any other mods to work (unless otherwise stated). Please be aware that these mods are much more likely to conflict with other mods than modloader ones. Make sure you aren't replacing classes for your other mods when using these mods.
Ladies and gentlemen, may I present the latest breakthrough in mining technology. A mod as breathtaking as the aether, as versatile as singleplayer commands, as necessary as modloader. This mod will change minecraft forever. Ladies and gentlemen, this is...
Damn fast minecarts.
That's right folks. No longer will you be forced to ride the rails at the mundane speeds of the old minecart, reaching speeds of a mere 8 meters per second. My new model can attain speeds exceeding a blazing 50 meters per second. Just step into one of my carts and let your virtual hair fly in the wind, as you ride in style!

Improved Slimes - 1.7.3 (Updated July 9th)
First off, I apologize if anyone has made anything similar to this - I used the search and found nothing, so I went ahead and made it.
This is a basic mod that simply adds a line telling you what the seed of a save file is. Note that only the numeric representation of the seed is saved by minecraft, so that's all this mod will display.
Installation
For most mods simply copy the class file in the download to your minecraft.jar. If there are any specific instructions, I'll be sure to add them to the mod description.

Looking forward to fighting epic 'HUGE' slimes. Thnx for this mod bro :biggrin.gif: this is worth too many diamonz to count
also, it would be cool if you made iit so little slimes grew bigger over time, esentially meaning that if you leave them alone, they will divide and multiply (and add or subtract JK)

I was thinking of doing that. I think it wouldn't be too difficult, I'd just need to figure out how many updates/second mobs get and come up with a reasonable time frame.

wow, thnx for relying so promptly! :biggrin.gif:
yeah, i was thinking maybe they go up a slime size every day cycle? then you dont have to add any mobs, you can just use the existent sizes!
It corrupted my save. :angry.gif:
EDIT: It DIDN'T corrupt my save. Turns out I installed a mod of the wrong version.
Yikes! I don't think this mod should be capable of corrupting anything, as it doesn't even use a class that has access to map data, but still be sure to make backups!
Requests Welcome!

There isn't a whole lot to say about this mod. It simply makes ores glow at the same light as activated redstone ore.

Faster Minecarts - 1.7.3 (Updated August 1st)
Improved Slimes - 1.7.3 (Updated July 9th)
- Adds the fabled "huge" slime size.
- Removes restriction on what chunks can have spawns (Does not change spawn rate!).
- Allows slimes to split even when there is extra damage (ie no longer need to get them to exactly 0 health).
Seed Display - 1.7.3 (Updated July 26th)

This is a rather simple mod that does the following for slimes:

so they could spawn ANYWHERE under level 16 now instead of specific chunks?
Correct, I removed the chunk requirements

Awesome Minecraft mod! clicky!
Check the getCanSpawnHere() method for entities.
Awesome =D I'll put the screenie up in the first post :biggrin.gif:
What do you mean? Like weight the spawn rate of one type of slime to be higher than others?
yeah, i was thinking maybe they go up a slime size every day cycle? then you dont have to add any mobs, you can just use the existent sizes!
Awesome Minecraft mod! clicky!
Oh sorry,didn't say it right.
I mean like the spawn rate of all slimes is 10x more then what they should be.
Sure, I'll add that version to the OP
EDIT: It DIDN'T corrupt my save. Turns out I installed a mod of the wrong version.

That was my goal :laugh.gif:
