With the fossil block texture, I suggest adding a little bit of off-white of beigish white. I do this myself by editing the texture on its own, but not everyone knows how to do thiss, and I know im not the only one who gets annoyed with that texture being so close to stone itself
Well, it's supposed to be a challenge to find fossils, like how much of a challenge it is IRL, so the texture (in my opinion) should remain the same.
Mob Talker is blocking the popularity of Fossil-Archeology mod.
Like Darkenhart said above, it's not really blocking this one much, it's like Flamm said, that one's younger than F/A, so he needs to get it out of beta first. Anyways, this mod is being worked on, I'm sure of it. Besides, on MT he's got help, plus I'll bet he has big plans for it, where as on here Flam's working on his own. Like I said in a previous post, he needs a team of moderators to help him get this mod going, or it'll remain at this same sluggish pace. Also let's not forget he has to work IRL.
Indeed, but Team July updated Mob Talker before Fossil/Archeology. And how did Mo Creatures speed update from 1.3.2 to 1.4.4? They have way more mobs than F/A.
Well, perhaps he had plans for Anu, but just hasen't been able to implament them whilst doing his work.
^This. Not to mention Anu's important to the mod's lore. Outright removing him wouldn't make sense. Limiting his spawning would be the preferred option if he's 'pointless' as you put it.
Anu which is short for Anubis is the god of the dead which is why he is in the nether. Anu is just an addition to the mod to make it more interesting and if he's pointless, just remove him from the mod in the fossil files and he's out of the game.
So its 1.4.5 I have all the mods installed for windows : ModLoader, MineCraft Forge, AudioMod, and they all work perfectly but when I install Fossils 1.4.5 It runs and it goes to a black screen after the MOJANG screen can I get some Help????

F/A hasn't been updated yet, it's still 1.3.2
so that should explain your problem.
that is part of the mod, if the eggs have hatched they are still "babies" so the dinosaurs still have to growafter they have hatched.
Actually, in the latest mod patch the eggs "instantly" become adults and well.... they're not supposed to. In previous editions it would take quite some time for them to go from baby to adult.

I asked the f/a team on their FB page(Team July) and they replied back saying that it will probably be released this coming weekend- everyone keep your fingers crossed that this is trueOh boy I can't wait- If this does happen I can the Jurassic park of my dreams!Make*
