You know what I'd like to see Pam? I'd like to see YOUR rendition of a hunger/drink mod....without 'lives' and soul shrines. Just a simple hunger/drink mod. That way you can balance your food with it...so it all works. And there could be new recipes for different 'drinks' that restore different amounts of 'hydration'. Just a thought. :smile.gif:
Also wouldn't mind a house furniture mod that utilized the new block ID system the forge has.

Good ideas, but I don't know how well I would be able to implement them. My coding, while good, is not very advanced. =)
Hey Pam, your mods pretty much cover all biomes, BUT the snowy ones. Think you could do something cool with those?
Hmm. Adding more spice to snowy biomes seems to be more of a mob thing. Like, adding polar bears and such.* I guess I could do some research on tundra plant life. =)
*I cannot make mobs, sadly, else I would have already released a small animals mod.
This looks awesome, downloading right now! I'll reply again when I start playing with it. The only bad thing is that Painterly pack gives me a headache. I use Moontrain's Lucid Pack, but the seeds are normal, Minecraft default I think.
I am currently designing a mod called EarthCraft (which will be released after all my other mods are converted to 1.8). It will contain *at least* new ores/alloys, new tools, new armors, possibly new stone and clay, new stone 'carpet' tiles, and new gems.
"But Pam, there are already at least a hundred new ore/gem mods out there!"
Yes, this is true. However, how many new ore/gem mods out there are able to use only a single Block ID for each of the new addition? That means all my new ores will only use up a single Block ID, all the new gems will only use one, etc. Also, how many ore/gem mods are there that use Forge (that means no sprite indice usage)?
None that I can find.
So, I figure since I'm already designing this for myself (since Mythic Ores/GeoCraft uses up too many block IDs and too many sprite indices for me to ever use them), I might as well release it to you guys as well.
For a sneak peek, check out the HarvestCraft GoogleDoc link. >.>
IDs keep changing to original when I change them in the config. Anything I can do about that?
First, which mod(s) are you talking about? Have you updated to the newest versions? What version of Minecraft Forge are you using? Also, are you changing the IDs near the top of the config with the # symbols? If so, don't do that. You need to change the numbers at the bottom of the config.

You solved it for me. I was changing the # ones lol. Thanks.

No problem. I did that first few times with my own mod. I have no idea why the mod 'prints' two versions of each. It's possible that the # area also shows stuff like comments and the like.
So, I've been told that I can have many different unique terrain and item.pngs using Minecraft Forge.
Do you folks want me to keep the single /pam/ folder and have it be filled with all the different .pngs (like, pamfoodterrain.png, pamflowersterrain.png, etc)?
Or do you guys want different folders like, /pamfood/, /pamflowers/, etc., each with their own pngs?
Thoughts?
Nevermind, I'm gonna go with the first option. It's easier for me to convert all my mods to that and easier to upkeep. =)
Haha Pam I keep coming back this time I found a crash using the desertcraft and timber mod. You can't use a cactus axe on trees. Anyway of fixing that?
the only thing i have a complaint on about your website is... well i've gotten used to the light/airyness of the minecraft forums, when i go to your website i feel like i am going total punk rock xd - its a weird change from light/dark/then light again

Um. Maybe? I never use the Timber mod. Could you post me an error report?

I admit to using Google Website and using their generic templates. =)
It was the closest color/theme to my favorite color (dark/steel blue) so that's what I went with. If I end up using the website exclusively, I'll make it look nicer.
Alright, this is what I'm going to do about the forum post/website.
I'm going to edit my original post to look more like a synopsis of my mods instead of one huge blob.
Basically, each mod will still have their own section, but it will be small--just a brief description and then a link to the page on my website for that specific mod. Download links for the mod will be at the top of the webpage, under the title. Please remember, as of 1.8, mods will not come with a /pam/ folder in them--you need to download it separately.
It'll look nice but all the in-depth information, download links, etc will be on my website. Also, all my news updates will be on the front page of the website. The sidebar of the webpage will have install instruction, FAQ, Pam folder, and other important links that apply to all the mods.
Also, cocoa crops are becoming cocoa trees, pumpkins aren't going to be farm able with my mod, and the peppercorn plant is becoming a generic spice/herb crop that drops random herbs/spices. Just a hint of what's changing with HarvestCraft come 1.8.

Hmmm I deleted all of my minecraft stuff (For more organization.) I'll try again! Also on another note I found some melon seeds in an abandoned mine(: (Pre-release)

Yeah, I find it silly that melon and pumpkin seeds only seem to be found in chests. That's why I'm going to be adding them to my modified Tall Grass Block.

Can I have you signature? PLEASE!
I will probably be making some raw foods edible (as it is, you can eat raw carrots for instance). Just copy my signature picture and upload it your website of choice and then put it in your signature.

As some people might have heard, pumpkin and watermelon seeds seem to only drop in dungeon chests. =(
Don't worry, I'll be adding them to Tall Grass (with my other seeds) in HarvestCraft come 1.8.
