My wife and I have been enjoying your flowers for as long as I can remember and we just recently started a server. While we still enjoy your mod in our singleplayer world, we were both wondering if you had a bukkit plugin version so that everyone who plays on our server could enjoy the beauty your mod brings.
Just let me know if there is one and I'll give it a try. If not, don't worry about making one, we can do without.
You can't mod a regular Bukkit server. The mappings that Bukkit uses do not support the additions of custom mobs, blocks, items, etc. There is, however, a project that attempts to combine both Forge and Bukkit into something called ForgeBukkit or as it's better known by the team that's coding it, MCPC, and while it is a work in progress, once there's a stable (beta) Bukkit release, they usually can get Forge mappings into the beta-build within a day or so. I recommend it, and you can find information on the project here. The site is down right now, but if you poke around their forums you can find the Jenkin's repository where they post the builds.
Do note that you will still have to configure the mods like you would singleplayer and all your players will need the same versions of the mod and the same config files as well.
Don't expect a 1.6.2 build until Bukkit has a beta build up though, and don't be posting on Bukkit asking when their 1.6.2 beta build will be ready. They really hate that. :<
Would this 1.6.2 update ostensibly fix issues with overuse of RAM or whatever? Because I believe this mod combined with NEI is conspiring to destroy my servers.
July 11th, 2013 - Weee! Flowers has been updated to 1.6.2 Before you install, make back-ups and if you are using a 1.5.2 world, you MUST BREAK ALL FLOWER CROPS. If you don't either the game will crash or they will all disappear. You will need to re-gen your config file as well to get the new options. All the crops now take up block ID 4001, moon flowers now take up 4002. All other IDs have stayed the same. Don't worry about moon flowers unless you have GalatiCraft installed. Moon flowers can be turned off by setting the moonflowerRarity to 0 and they can be turned into dyes just like normal flowers. They have no crops, however.
If anyone has GalatiCraft installed for 1.6.2 and let me know if the moon flowers generate with the version of Weee! Flowers I just uploaded not two seconds ago, I'd appreciate it.
Hate to bother about this, but we recently removed your mod from our modpack because of the salt generation. How about thinking up a new method to get salt, or adding a more in depth config file for the salt ore generation, because on a server that uses several different mods, not everyone is interested in food creation. Lots of people love the mod, just wish that the salt ore spawned more rare or even in certain biomes, so you wouldn't need to use it if you didn't want to. I remember seeing in another food mod, they used a method of putting paper into the ocean and placing it on a drying rack to obtain salt. Either way, would love to have this mod back, but salt needs a way more configurable spawn option, than it's current.

You DO know that you can remove the salt minimod from the HarvestCraft modpack, right? Just delete the minimod and BAM all salt ores turn to stone. You can always make salt from water barrels and a pot in the crafting table.
When HarvestCraft 1.6.2 comes out, you're gonna need to do the following things if using a previous world/save:
1) Break all crops (not wild bushes, tree fruits, etc) just crops. This includes rice, cranberry, mushrooms, and the special crop.
2) Turn all seed packets and boxes back into seeds
3) Turn all storage boxes back into their respective item
4) Delete your old configs
If you don't do this, the game will either explode or just delete those items, making you lose stuff. I'm not sure which.
As much as you guys want to me to use metadata for items, I'm not going to. Why? Because I hate fun.
No, the real reason is to keep compatibility with older saves/servers cause I know you guys have those and want to not have to start all over again each time I update.
The seed packets/boxes are going away. The storage boxes will come back in a later update, once I've fixed them up to use less block IDs. The special crop is disappearing and will come back when I release the Mob Drop crop mod.
I'm going to be keeping what block IDs and item IDs I can the same but of course all the crops will be condensed in one block ID (that's why you're breaking all of them).
Hello Pam and her fans. Just dropping by to introduce myself and to wish her luck on the upcoming updates for HarvestCraft. I'll be helping Pam sort out her tile entities which are utilized in my own farming mod: FarmCraftory. I also have other mods too so you can check them out if you like.
Alright folks, last call to add help me add crops to HarvestCraft.
After this, no more new crops (and by extension bushes). If you notice something is missing that is very common where you live and isn't another variety of 'lettuce' (I'm looking at you kale, collard greens) or hybrid food, let me know!
EDIT: Please note, the food item should be able to stand on its own in recipes for the most part instead of always being added to other stuff (elderberries).

Bahahah! That would be a very interesting game tbh xD It would be really tough at night with the game generating mobs at a really fast rate.
Ars Magica has a nice spell called Accelerate which increases the number of ticks in a small radius. (:
peace
Plant Life, Trees, Flowers, Food and Farming! Pam's mods.
It's okay. Not having bonemeal working made me stop being lazy and code in bonemeal working for the tile entity flowers. xD

Moooooooon flowers! Please re-download Weee! Flowers if you had any crashes going to the moon in GalactiCraft.
And now after that brief flash of code fixing, back to bed with me!

How about seaweed to use with all of the fish (from the mod you collaberated with...) to make different types of sushi rolls?
Excellent addition!
Peace,
Sherry
Thanks for taking the time to let me know! =)
