Pam, first i want to say that I love your mods, but i have a problem with HarvestCraft 1.4.5, i couldn't find any fruit tree/bush or seeds in game even if i use creative mode. The mod status show HarvestCraft 1.4.5 as available. What could be wrong?
PS: I tried to install it several times, even using a clean "mods" folder and "minecraft.jar" file.
The HarvestCraft Base mod adds no new blocks, crop, seeds, trees, etc. If you want them, you have to download the crop or fruit tree you're interested in.

Only Tomato, Lettuce, Onion, Corn, Strawberry, Apple, Cotton, Grape, Cucumber, Peanut are available now, right?
As a person who isn't an artist, I find textures to be harder. x.X
I havent figured out how to make my own textures yet. So far Ive just been taking my favorite parts out of all the texture packs I use, and putting them into one pack

Making your own textures is as simple as downloading GIMP (a free Paintshop-like program) and start messing around. That's what I do!

I have paint.NET, but it didnt come with blonde instructions, and I cant figure out how to do much with it yet. My daughter is really good with it tho, so Im hoping I can get her to teach me
Pam I have returned with another question. Why would the lettuce, onions and corn crops show up as white ...things..Ya know, like when you get the seed and plant them into the ground. It is as if the textures are not referencing themselves correctly. Actually noticed earlier but figured I had caused something to derp out from the bunch of mods I cram into Minecraft.
So I did the "fresh install" thing.
I have tried to install just a fresh copy of Minecraft, added in the most recent Forge, then add in all the Pam's Mod Harvestcraft things. And got the same results.
Am I missing something? I can supply some screenshots if needed.
The crops grow and function correctly. And there are none of these oddities with the other crops.
Ah yes and while I am here. A small person wanted me to thank you for peanut butter.
I have not checked in for awhile and want to say that I personally love the direction you went with your mods. The customization along with the vanilla like feel of the game is amazing. Always have admired your work, great job.
I want to suggest adding a Barley extension. It could really be useful to expand to stuff like ale and beer. You could make wine from grapes and vodka from potatoes. I completely understand if you against alcohol mods in MC, but I just wanted to put it out there. Love your mods and hope you get better!
One thing I noticed, the Huge Mushrooms, Melon Spawn, Simple Recipes & Get all the seeds 1.4.5 links give me the 1.4.4 mods instead. I apologize if you left a note that they worked in 1.4.5 or not. They do work for 1.4.5 apparently though.
Spending the time I'm not coughing my face off re-doing the graphics for rice to make them less lame. Still stuck on the actual rice item though. It's all...8-bit NES still. Drawing rice is hard.
EDIT: I shouldn't say that drawing rice is hard, it's the drawing of rice that doesn't look like diagonal white lines that is hard. lol

Thanks for replying you're awesome!
Yep! I'm working on adding more so don't worry. =)

No. You'd have to download it every time I updated it anyway and now you have the choice of what you want.
/Hugs!
(shortly after this photo was taken the photographer was bludgeoned to death with a bouquet of peonies)
peace
