Any chance of adding pockets of clay to river/ocean biomes, or even rarely spawn small amounts of brick in ruined houses? Redpower 2 needs bricks for the alloy furnace, so I can't make any brass tubes :sad.gif:
Sounds like dryheart sold/lost the server, I don't think we can use it anymore :-(
random new idea: graves, where it's two smooth stones with a sign on it and a randomly generated name. Dig down two blocks (approximately six feet ;-) lol) and you can find a chest with bones and rotten flesh, or possibly a mini dungeon with a spawner for skeles or zombies.

I support this idea.
Perhaps have a couple booby-trapped. As there are two blocks, one could have a chest in, the other block could have a pressure plate with tnt under it.
I'm currently deciding whether or not to make a Minecraft RP series based in the Wasteland.
A friend of mine has just started a series of her own.
I will provide more info on it when she has got it more established :smile.gif:
Hey guys, sorry I haven't been on lately, I have basketball practices and games nearly every day and it's really eating my time.
I want to update graves a bit(we did have them in as piles of dirt with a sign on top), they are currently not working, they shoot out string overflow errors I have to look into.

there is clay around still I've found it in the basements of building that are in what would have been ocean biomes

I generated a 100-by-100 chunk area (that's 1600-by-1600 blocks) and rendered it with Cartograph. There are precisely 0 clay blocks and 0 brick blocks.
This mod is, of course, one of the best ideas ever, and is simplicity itself.
Works extremely well with Last Days, also.
Perhaps you should code in radioactive areas, where you have a certain resistance before you take damage...
Then again, this is a terrain-generator based mod, and that's not the spirit of it. But <3 for you.
I got on the server, but I don't like the border, and I died from starvation even though it is only supposed to take me to half health.
There is no world generator for Bukkit so the border is a neccessity. If you were allowed to free roam wherever you wanted the normal world would generate. It could be further out but it takes time to generate in MCEdit. The server would have to be down for me to do it. It would take me several hours to double the current radius (1000).
As for starvation, what do you mean supposed to? :tongue.gif: Minecraft has multiple difficulty settings and on hard you can die from starvation. I'm not against changing it so I will consider.

for a wasteland i think normal is the highest for a server, since food is hard to come by people won't be able to venture far out to find it with starvation setting in.

I've lowered the difficulty to normal and doubled the size of the world. I found a faster way to generate chunks, but uploading the 500MB took a long time.

A few bases rules:
No griefing
No hacking, duping or exploits
Stealing and PVP is ok
With that said everything is at my discretion. If I find you too offensive I will let you know.
Have fun!

it keeps telling me "took too long to log in" I know it's not my connection because I can easily connect to other servers.

Maybe you have a problem with port forwarding. Port is 25568 not the regular 25565. Other people connect to the server fine.
