The bird sounds don't bug me at all. What i want is the firing of an arrow to sound like a real arrow shot, and to somehow make weapon sounds work for mod weapons
Hmmm my issue is that when it rains I'm still hearing the rain as if I am outside when I stand near a window with glass in it. It's the same when I'm high up in the air and I have glass windows in place. It sounds as if I'm still outside. Is there anyway to fix this?

For sounds to work with mod weapons you'd need to define the ID number for the weapons in the Designer. Like say, if you had a mod that added a ruby sword, you'd add the sword's ID number to the Sword Sharp list in the weapon's database. As for the bow, there's a sound mod for Skyrim that replaces the bow sounds with sounds recorded from an actual wooden longbow being fired, which is perfect for the Minecraft bow. The firing sound of the bow though isn't in Matmos, you'd need to snag Audiotori to change it.
Well, one thing's for sure, i can't add this to the Feed The Beast Mod Pack, it doesn't seem to work, but i'm guessing if i put it into the minecraft.jar directly, it should work?
EDIT: This mod does not seem to work with FTB at all. Do you think you can work on this if possible?
It ~might~, but chances are it won't work at all. It's supposed to be loaded from the "mods" folder, with Modloader installed, dunno how the Feed The Beast mod pack works in relation to Modloader and all, if it uses it in any way.
MAtmos for 1.4.6 current changelog :
- Divided the loading time of MAtmos expansions by about 50. This means that when loading an expansion, it will often take less than 0.2 seconds (some expansions took over 10 seconds to load)
- Loading expansions is no longer threaded
Sorry, nothing too exciting, no interactivity with Better Sound Mod, I've been busy with other things.
All my mods including MAtmos for 1.4.6 will be updated sometime between Saturday 22 and Monday 24. No guarantees.
The website will go down for maintenance prior to updating for an indeterminate amount of time.
Very nice...I really love your mods...Promise to donate at next update

In the mean time, while we wait for our dear Hurricaaane to put finishing touches on 1.4.6 version, does any one know if attempting to use 1.4.5 will do anything other than blackscreen, before I actually try to do it...?
actually... it's no skin off my nose, I'll try it and tell you if 1.4.5 version actually works at all in 1.4.6, brb.

Hey
Hurricaaane
I just want to let you know I absolutely love your mod. it really enhances my gameplay.
By the way i would like to make a suggestion for future versions:
do you think you can make dynamic echoes in Minecraft? for example, if you build a large empty room it will echo or if you are exploring a large overworld cave. that would be awesome
Hm.....that's strange....I could have sworn I had left a post here someplace......
At any rate, I do look forward to the next update! This is one of my favorite mods, as it gets rid of the dull silence throughout the normal world. Do take as long as you need to update. I'm sure it will be worth the wait!
Hey loving the mod. Could it be updated to reduce noises when inside enclosed buildings such that a tree house up high in a jungle tree is less windy when inside. Thz

Open .minecraft/matmos/dataconfigvars.cfg and add those two lines:
0:-80
1:-96
80 is the altitide where it starts to get windy
96 is the altitude where it gets really windy
Replace the numbers with those you want (notice the minus sign, that is intentionnal)
Sorry it's complicated but I can't really make it better for now

I'm wondering this as well, they were a good reminder of nightfall. always start chirping around 18:00, they didn't seem overly annoying to me.
Yeah, I'm totally going to add them again.
