You misplaced matmos_*.dat files probably

Look at the installation notes to properly install MAtmos.

Anyways, I found a way to adjust the volume without touching menu files. That way I won't need to worry about mod conflicts

Latest fix worked for me. This is perfect. Best Mod ever. Ok, one of the best. All of the modders here are great. I'm just so happy. :biggrin.gif:

Yes, it still lags me. Not a lot, but enough to make it annoying. It's almost like sporadic static lag (no noise, just fps problem). I'll deal with it for now, and TBH I don't think that I can tell you what is causing it.

Wasn't making any judgements - if you're not a noob then you know 90% of black screens are because of the meta-inf.
It was a reasonable assumption.
