Anyone got "minecart.mp3" on their disk?
It's the concept sound C418 posted on Reddit for a moving minecart. The original link has vanished from his website, and I couldn't find any mirrors of this file on Google (minecraftwiki points to the dead link on C418's website).
Tried keywords:
"minecart sound"
"minecart.mp3" c418
"minecart.mp3" -last (filtering out "the last minecart.mp3")
and a whole bunch of other stuff
I'm trying to add a Minecart moving sound before release.
It appears it has been wiped off the face of the internets... And I very seriously doubt anyone has it saved, considering most of them likely assumed it would be in the .minecraft resources folder at release.

I also found the post on reddit and the file isn't there anymore. A comment said that the pitch changes, so I thought it was this one. :wink.gif:
I like the little goals list in the OP. Its nice to see inside the development cycle.
yes. been checking first post roughly 50 times a day for update....almost there!
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is, infinite. For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things through narrow chinks of his cavern.

- Expansions now load from matmos_expansion_r7/ folder to prevent conflicts with previous versions and upcoming evolutions of the expansion system.
- Expansions have a data evaluation frequency clock.

- Holding F7 down when MAtmos is disabled, force-reloads expansions from both the web and the disk.
+ Debugging
- The loggers are configurable, with 4 levels (0: INFO, 1: FINE, 2: FINER, 3: FINEST)

As for any update, if there are any issue or bugs (minor or major), you should report immediately, after making sure you installed everything properly (META-INF, ModLoader).
The installation process is a bit different from before.
Open the downloaded archive, and drop everything it contains into the .minecraft/ folder, and it should be working.
The Zip you're downloading contains another .zip file inside the mods/ folder. ModLoader can load packaged mods directly from that folder.
If you're using a installation mod manager, you're clever enough to know the drill about what to do with the .zip in the mods/ folder:
That's the classfiles, so you put that in your mod installer and remove it from that default location.
Minecraft runs properly, but the game crashes when I load a world. I disabled Audio Mod and now it works fine. Maybe some conflicts there.
Here's my error report, in case you're curious:

I found out how to fix your problems. Delete the matmos_expansion_r7 folder from the .minecraft folder. As long as it is not there, you will be fine. However, after deleting that folder, you won't get the weapon sounds, or the extra additions he made, you will just get the regular sounds. It is unfortunate. :C
*Edit*
It seems that you don't get any of the matmos sounds after. I guess we will have to wait for a fix, then.
It appears it has been wiped off the face of the internets... And I very seriously doubt anyone has it saved, considering most of them likely assumed it would be in the .minecraft resources folder at release.
I play Slave Hack, give it a try!
Hm... Perhaps you could try the wayback machine?
Do you mean this?

So excited, it's like Christmas is coming early!
yes. been checking first post roughly 50 times a day for update....almost there!
I'm not saying that this is taking too long, I'm just saying that in a "OMG LOOK AT THE STATUS!!"-type of way. :biggrin.gif:
Same. I am literally checking every 20 minutes on the progress.

I run a bunch of mods, FYI.

You're an animal Hurricaaane. I've disabled Audiomod for now so I can hear the sweet, sweet birdsong that MATMOS doth bring.
No, its fine! No need to be sorry! We all just love this mod, so we will wait patiently, right guys? ...Guys?
Is it Audiomod that causes this problem? :ohmy.gif:
