Thanks for your work! I corrected this pack more accurately. json-files are rewrited using new syntax (old "Instant" sheet conditions etc.). Stack rhapsodia_music_manager works correctly (at least without exceptions).
Tested this version , the sound is very low and there is a bug with the rain sequence.
Rain sound when its sunny and then quiet when it rains , after a period of rain the sequence gets messed up.

Sorry , it doesn't work correctly
This even happens with msi_conversion. I would also like to know what could be the cause of this!

Same for me, but I think the rain sound only plays in certain biomes in the right way. Also when I go into a village it stops and continues when I leave it again... Oh well, it's kinda messy. Sometimes it plays, sometimes it doesn't. And the windy sound played on a certain heigth also doesn't seem to work (if MSI actually includes these sounds, I don't remember).

Hmm . I found the link to the sources' on the front page , I'll take a look at it and if its not updated I'll take a crack at it . I thought this was an awesome addon and is a must have to enhance the players sense of sound . I uninstalled it after the rain problem . Just like it can enhance the experience , the rain reversal messes with it and it's beyond tolerable .

Yeah, you're right. This rain bug is really destroying the immersion. I would be super happy if you would be able to fix it!

I remember this mod in one of the Yogboxes. Very sweet mod. Just got the Footspets mod of yours and I am loving it! I'll be looking forward to when this mod is updated to 1.7.2. I just hope that version won't be skipped since allot of Bukkit Servers are still on that update.
Cheers and Upvotes regardless
1.7.2 was only a test version and they skipped and went straight to 1.7.10. I also wish there was a version for 1.7.2

I went through the source code for matmos 1.7.10 . I couldn't find any errors in the code. I went into the built in editor using F5 key and looked at the msi_resourcepack. most conditions are ok but can be improved , they where written for 1.6.4 . The question is , who has a lot of free time to do a new Matmos resource-pack for 1.7.10 . The source-code needs updates to be compliant with 1.8 . Another problem is 1.8.1 has most of the bug fixes but no MCP yet. Just my observations . So if you were wondering what was causing sound bugs its the resource pack

So hey all...
I've been a major fan of this mod since discovering it - Minecraft is a great core game, but having sounds and music triggered by location is HUGE for me - can't explain why but the immersion when stacked with shading is actually a bit better than when I was using an Oculus DK2 and Minecrift...
Anyway, as I checked in on this thread and saw some of you had done some work updating, and found that Rhapsodia Delta version, I figured I'd check in and see if someone could give me a relatively quick explanation on how to add more sounds? I'm primarily looking to add a few more songs for random events - maybe choosing a song at random every 5-10 minutes (giving enough time to play the song fully) for a given zone? I will also be making a modded server and building the world with BiomesOPlenty, so if someone could also describe how to add based on biome? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The sound editor is built into the mod. hit F5 in game to make changes. This kind of venture needs a Foley Artist (sound engineer)

I've been pretty distracted myself. I'm not sure why I'm seeing folks talking about deobfuscating, etc, when Hurricaaane (and I) develop mAtmos on github. Github's main search shows the mAtmos repository as the first link.
Building mAtmos isn't all that easy, but it's not impossible. I'm still running 164, so I've not worked on 1.7 or 1.8 at all.
mAtmos is pretty awesome, I hope it continues. I really like the idea of that Rhapsody pack!

Hi , I went though the latest code at the git and as far as I can see , i couldn't find any errors . most of Mojangs updates involved block and video. Updating audio for 1.8 and beyond , not the problem . Example , the annoying rain reversal bug in the sound resourcepack . It was written for 1.6.4 and since then , new biomes have been added . The conconditions in the Audio resource pack need major updating by someone with folly experience .
Its a great mod until you start getting rain sounds when its sunny or No sound when there's a storm .
I agree that this mod is one of the best minecraft mod. Most people does not even know it because installing it is such a pain. If we would be able simply drag and drop it like any other Forge mod (+ adding a resource pack), this mod would become hugely popular.
I cannot play minecraft without it anymore, the world feels so blend without it.
It would be amazing if someone could make it back forge + 1.7.10 available (without liteloader) ... then later 1.8
This is an amazing mod! It adds a certain spookiness too the game. (Especially in caves and at night.) Keep up the good work huricaaane, i can't wait till it's updated for 1.8 :D.
Note to minecraft community: Make more aesthetic mods, they really do add to the game.
Has anyone come up with a fix for the rain bug? (even if it's just disabling the rain sound and running the vanilla one instead) That's my only real gripe with this mod , the rest of it is absolutely fantastic.
