Hello friends,
Sir blue Lazyspriter here.
Most of your update lag is because of me!
Now don't rage because I'm almost done with the sprites that volgon needs and they should be done by the end of sunday.
Have fun

Goto mah profile, I can't put the other link here D:
Ok it looks like the new download 1.23.5 requires Forge 303 NOT Forge 251 like it still says on the OP.
Now that the cooking of cobble works and the stone recipe for levers work I went on to try using one of these levers on a stone door, and that doesn't work. Levers and stone buttons work fine for iron doors and wooden doors but have no effect on the stone door.
The mushroom stew recipe for stone bowls is seriously messed up. Red and brown mushrooms with a stone bowl gives you nothing. red and brown mushrooms without a stone bowl gives you 4 bowls of mushroom stew, giving you four free stone bowls when you eat the stew.
Ok quick question stone brick? Are thay in the sprites blue is working on? Realy would love to build with a more elagent block so my home stands out from my mine more. realy want to get busy on making my giant dwarven city. also is the turning coal to diamond saposed to be crafted with 8 like a chest or with 9 like a block? And Finaly Thx for all your hard work i realy love this mod ^-^.
Aww jeez the chest took me a while to update to 1.3.2. I'm not sure if I'm that bad or if it just wasn't documented as well.
I'm not even sure what I did to finally get it working. I looked at Iron chest's source on github it helped me understand enough of what to do to get it done, but not really enough to explain it.
Forge stuff seems to be laking in documentation in general and new modder frendly stuff is almost non-existant. Thank goodness I already know how to program or I would never get anywhere.
Thanks for the link I'll check it out
BTY: my mod seems to be a lite version of this, this is much cooler, good thing I didn't find this earlier or I never would have started modding

I'll check things out. I thought I was using build #251 in my MCP I'll double check though.
Ok Stone doors, I'm working on that one. Not really sure why its not working though. Must have missed something.
And of course I forgot a few things when I made the mushroom stew recipe. Mainly to put that it needed a bowl.

Keep on Mining :3
I'll see about adding them, sholdn't be too hard. Oh sorry about that I forgot to update the recipe. It takes 8 coal to make a block(like a chest), 8 coal bocks to make it compressed, and 9 compressed coal blocks to make a super compressed. And I forgot to include a recipe for reverting the blocks into the previous.

I'll have to check your mod out. I like seeing other peoples take on the underground aspect of things.

can someone pls tell me how to install this mod i cant seem to get it to work
Your joking right?
In other news though MineCraft 1.4.2 is out and that means I need to update this again. I have not been working on this mod much in the past few weeks due to playing MineCraft. I'm finding that my plans for making the world itself better by forming it to my will isn't going too well in the manner I have planned for it. So I have decided to take a break from all that stone and make something else. I'm currently working on an arachnophobia update that is still early in development. I'm hoping that it will be a lot of fun and it will add much to the game play. I don't think I will do any pets with the arachnids any time soon, as I'm not too sure on how I want them to be done. Although just taking the wolf's AI/Pet system could be a temp placeholder. I'm not too sure.
Anyway let me know what you guys think about an arachnophobia update. That or a vermin themed update. Unless if I get a lot of negative feedback I will do something with both, but until then expect both in the future.

Yes! Its fantastic to know you're still staying on this mod. I've been playing btw but with the 1.4.2 update I decided to return to forge and this is one of my must haves.
As for the spider and vermin plans I have a couple of suggestions (with regards to the pet aspect) if you want to hear them.
Edit: what method did you use to make stone mineable (sorry if that's wrong horrible at spelling) by hand, and is that still a feature? Also I'm glad to see that mini-me is still in.
Three things:
1. Would you mind posting a picture or two of the new world type, and the mossy dirt?
2. When you say the mod is "SMP-ish", does that include LAN? If not, does LAN work just as well as single player, or does it work less than SMP?
3. What's that clusters-per-chunk thing?
EDIT: 4. Does the new world type generate up to the new world height, or just to the old one? In other words, is it like the Nether, or taller?
I certainly hope you aren't planning to let this mod die. i had great fun with it before in previous versions and hope to do so again. this is not so much an 'UPDATE!' request as it is just a question. do you plan to make a 1.4.6 version or will you wait until 1.5 and the modding api are released? either way i'll be patient until then.
Oh, congratulations on your graduation by the way!

I really just don't find this mod interesting anymore. I've been thinking about how to make it more fun for me to develop and I'm really coming up with a blank. Nothing I could do with this mod sounds fun. I'm not waiting on an API that is has been promised for 1-2 years and honestly forge suits my needs pretty well.
Really the main problem is that every idea I can think of is already done in a much more popular mod and people would throw a fit like they did for NEI if I implemented them, I don't see the point to it since the same thing can be done with other mods, or it would be too resource intensive to do it properly. I mean seriously how many mods are there for Ore processing? How useful would something like a real life metalworking system with crucibles, slag, etc., etc.? And really if I wanted to make some kind of 'drone' to do tasks for the player it would be too resource intensive for me to do it the way I want.
I really do appreciate that there is a small amount of people that enjoy this mod, but I really just don't know where to go with this mod that would make me want to develop it. I'm sorry. I really am.

I understand where you're coming from. it's a bit sad that your interest in this mod has disappeared but that happens. i'm not a mod maker myself so i certainly have no right to complain. thanks for keeping it going as long as you did and I hope you release many new and interesting mods!
Lemme just stop you right there. Just no.
