what I really need is a block that produces a Redstone signal. I can put the real sensor on the non moving base. any ideas on a block that will keep producing a Redstone signal even after being moved by a frame? then I can use a non moving transmitter to detect it. and it needs to be able to transmit downwards. would a switch stay on a frame?
A not gate perhaps?
Or if you need it togglable a toggle latch.

Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana.
The sorting machine handles whole stacks very well, never had any problems when pushing "income" around from my 3 BC quarries and several forestry farms .... ok, had some problems when filter was off and my input chest had severely overflowed, but NOT with sorting this stuff afterwards xDDDDD
Oh cool then, time for some experimenting. Thanks !
edit: so something like a filter on a chest feeding sorting machines?
I give you the Punnett Squarilizer Mark 2.3!
the board pic was taken from far away so you could see the colors. i used buffer gates there, they work great in tight spaces. its to later to record a vid now, i'll get it up tomorrow. and remember, dont worry bee happy
Video as promised:
the annotations and music are being added right now DONE, just thought i should get it out as fast as i could.
now to work on the di-hybrid cross.
hmm, how do i embed it?
Hi, I'm brazilian and I have a youtube channel where I post some tutorials and let's play videos. In my current Let's Play season I'm using RedPower and many of my subs are having dificulty installing all the mods I'm using. I'm planning on building a modpack to easy the installation procress for them. Can I do this?
I posted a video showcasing an extremely compact Six-axis Frame Quarry a little while back, and some complained that I moved too fast. I've now created a tutorial, which should help you understand the inner workings a bit better and allow you to build your own.
I was thinking about a printer too. You could print a schematic diagram on how to build something (from CAD program running on Control - and wait, they will come!) and hold it in your hands like a map. That could come handy.
Why not have a Newspaper? Maybe I want to write a Journal. Or send a love letter anonymously. Or print up instructions on how to perform a task, like run a computer I have set up. The possibilities are endless.
I think it would be awsome if we could place the pages on walls as well as hold them in your hands like a map.
Eloraam, can you include the base class(es) for BlueTricity in a future version of forge?
(e.g. is it isolated enough that the core modules like: IConsumeBluetricity with BlueTricitySink/Consumer ) can be put there without too much fuss? (e.g. refactoring / dependency extraction or whatever you Java coders call it...)
There are interested parties, who would like to add to this, Red-Power Era that is beginning...
Not with a post count of 8 (at the time I read it). Check the OP for Eloraams 'minimum requirements' for Mod-packs.
There is no reason you couldn't do a tutorial for your viewers and if you have a modified config file, due to any other mods you use, then you are allowed to provide that as well.
Already did this, but a great number of people have a lot of problems installing the mods. It's a real shame she can't allow it for people with less than 100 posts, since english is no my main language I don't post here a lot and probably will never reach that number.
Uh, I've been having a strange problem similar to one someone else was having a few (hundred) pages back. I can't seem to craft anything. Anything, RedPower related that is. I haven't ever had this sort of problem before and I don't know why my game has started acting up now, as I didn't add in anything mod-related recently. I just tried crafting a toggle latch the other day and nothing showed up in the output slot. I checked NEI for the recipe and I had it right. This also happen with WRCBE recipes.
I tried tons of RedPower recipes and nothing worked. I install RedPower through MagicLauncher into the .jar but like I said before, I've never had a problem before. I tried taking out mods to see if there was a conflict and no change. I even took out everthing except for Forge and RedPower and even then I still couldn't craft anything from RedPower. I downloaded a fresh copy of Forge and every module of RedPower; still no change. I tried installing mods through the mods folder and again, nothing. Tried deleting the config folder; nothing.
I've also recently (around the same time) have been having a problem with the clock/compass textures of my TP (Sphax), but I'm not sure if that's related.
I'm really at a loss here. I've never had any sort of problem like this before. Heck, I've never even had any problem with RedPower, or any mods. Any help would be appreciated. And yes, I did check the EAQ...
Edit: In the past, I have had LWJGL problems, which somehow resolved themselves and occaisionally pop up from time to time. Again, not sure if this has anything to do with my current issue, but I just thought I'd throw that out there.
I've found this as well.
Are you on SSP or SMP? Vanilla server or the 'other one'?
I found my issue only affects SMP, and I have posted about it on the 'relevant forum', but if this is affecting SSP or Vanilla SMP then it might be a RP specific issue.
I have found a restart usually fixes it but it can randomly stop crafting RP items at any time.
I only play on SSP. When you say, "restart," do you mean your computer or force updating the .minecraft folder? I'll try both, but I can't see how the former would change anything.
Have you thought of doing a very simple video of a Magic Launcher install, or (even though other people will have a go at me here) an install using MCPatcher? I use that for all my installs. As long as you have all the files added and they are in the correct order it usually works fine.
Man, I know is not THAT hard to install mods, but apparently a lot of people don't think so. About 60~70% of the comments on my videos are about people having troubles installing all the mods in my Let's Play. Having a modpack would help all this people.
I already made a very easy to follow video with all the steps to install the mods manually. Even listed the link to every single file needed. Still people have trouble.
Since Eloraam has not given me a direct no yet I still have some hope. i really have no direct gain making this modpack, only wanna help my subs :/
As I said, why not just wait till Books are introduced to Vanilla? It's highly likely that they will be there before Eloraam is able to make and implement them.
Automatic book printing, possibly hooked up to RP control.
That makes more sense to me than an independant printing/schematics system.
I agree with you, but I don't think we should give up on that idea.
Does anyone know if I can compact these logic gates?
Here's a couple ways, depending on whether you'd rather use bundled cable or a null cell. You could get away with no insulated wire in the latter case, just using cover strips or different orange wire positioning to keep them separate.
