I agree, but I know their sending an onNeighborBlockChange to my doors as they will open if I close them by hand before changing the power state. EDIT: To clarify I still think this is a bug in my code, though the oddest one I've ever seen.
Neighbor change isn't enough to determine power state, though. You have to check it.
hey you havnt added flip flops yet, besides the button toggle if that counts as a t flip flop, in the next release is it possible for a jk flip flop and d flip flop?

I answered that last page :smile.gif: Level-triggered D is coming soon. I haven't yet figured out how to do a JK within the constraints of my art style.
There are currently two, by the way - SR and T. And I believe (although I haven't tested it) that the mux can be used as a level-triggered D already.
Hey Eloraam, have a new graphic bug for you :biggrin.gif:
This is with the latest version of Buildcraft, Redstone Pipe, Optimine HD_C, Convenient Inventory, TMI, and of course IR and the wonderful wonderful RedPower.
This was taken on SMP.
We do not think that it is actually connecting, just a minor graphical glitch. It was happening to both me and my buddy, and only part of the time. In fact I think you can see in other places further down the line where it is not happening.
edit: now I KNOW its a graphical bug because after I logged out and back in it was fixed. Low prioroty.
Of course that's not a major bug (who the hell places wires that way?), but still...
@BrickedKeybord: may I join your server? I'd really like to see your creations :smile.gif:
Not a bug at all, that's expected behavior. The first picture is demonstrating an "exterior corner connection". Those can only happen in unoccupied blocks. When you add wire to the previously empty block, suddenly those two blocks aren't candidates for exterior corner connection at all - on the rather reasonable assumption that if you've got a wire in that block anyway, you can directly connect to it.

Did you make sure to install RedPowerCore in the server jar? If you didn't, you're going to be missing a bunch of TileEntity updates, and that can cause all sorts of weird glitches on the client side.
This mod lookes great, only one problem, the recipe for redstone ingot is the same as the recipe for the lock on magic chest. Is there any way the recipe could be changed to the redstone in the corners instead? i really want to make wire byt need the magic chest mod as well.......Help.
Would you you care to show a screen shot for comparison?
Sure, why not. It's here.
Note that I have different segment order. Comparsion of yours and mine is in a spoiler below.
a = 7
f = 6
b = 5
g = 4
e = 3
c = 2

Buffer gates are pure copycatting, and it's possible to lessen this tower in lenght as there's some "free" space. Otherwise, when I tested this setup, it worked fine.
OK, new bug. Looks like repeaters now power things backwards... which shouldn't be, especially since it's not red alloy. This circuit was built before repeater-red alloy interaction got fixed, and removing three-way wire by right repeater depowers the circuit.
P.S Also, how do I get shortened nameless imgur links?
Firstly, excellent mod!
Secondly, is this 100% compatible with TMI? I can get the IR wafer, red alloy ingot and the timer block but nothing else. However I can craft them - which leads me to believe that these mods and TMI aren't getting along ...
If anyone knows why this is happening, your responses would be greatly appreciated.
*clap* *clap* *clap* seriously the BEST redstone mod, as great as the Pistons mod when it was released. A Must have mod for minecraft. Eloraam, thanks for all your effort of making this great and awesome mod. I won't ever play minecraft without this mod :tongue.gif:

I have all blocks and their metadata subparts in my TMI. Can you post a list of your mods, in spoiler tag?

Hello! I just have a little problem:
With your redpower mod, when i connect red alloy with redstone, the alloy stays on
Is it normal?
Yes, that's normal. I've explained the technical reasons for this a few pages back, but for the time being, regular redstone and red alloy wires are not directly compatible. It's a very hard problem to fix, it'll require a fair bit of new code. I just assumed that most people would use red alloy wires exclusively once they had them.
It's really very difficult to change the behavior of regular redstone, and that's the problem - to make the two wiring systems compatible, both sides have to cooperate, and regular redstone is downright hostile to that.
This mod lookes great, only one problem, the recipe for redstone ingot is the same as the recipe for the lock on magic chest. Is there any way the recipe could be changed to the redstone in the corners instead? i really want to make wire byt need the magic chest mod as well.......Help.
Yes, I've heard of that. I was going to change the recipe in the hotfix, but there was no really obvious alternative. It's something I plan to fix for 1.5.2, in theory. I just have to think more about the recipe.

That's weird. The circuit you're demonstrating there isn't even particularly close to red alloy. I didn't change the repeater itself, just the way red alloy talks to it. It shouldn't even effect IR. Can you reproduce in a simpler environment? Watch out for indirect power, in case that's the problem.
This might just be another "redstone and red alloy hate each other" bug, although I'm having trouble finding a valid indirect power path there.

That sounds like you're using TMI in SMP. In SSP, you should be able to get any of the IR items from TMI, but in SMP, you'll only get the timer, the wafer, the ingot, the bare wire, white insulated wire, and cable.

I've just found the problem. It's one of those "what the heck was I thinking" moments.

I sure hope it is a bug, because it's pretty annoying.
Its a bug that is hard to fix since it would be hard to rewrite redstone just use only red power wires or a repeater between red stone and red wire.

please, just go away!

Yep, a known issue that is very difficult to fix.
