Im haveing trouble with my mobile quarry. I used MHRcraft's miner that I found on youtube and attached the omnidirectional engine mk6.4 thats used with wireless redstone mod and took out the reciever and threw in toggle switches. Sometimes when i toggle it goes ok. Then sometimes when i toggle i crash or if I set it on a timer I will crash whenever I get near the dang thing. Maybe somebody can decode my error for me.

I have zero sympathy for anyone who does not directly support the mod authors and supports that blatant ripoff modpack.

i fully understand the history of tekkit but with all things change is a factor, several other modders and pack makers have packaged their mods with the technic launcher recently so i think we should just move on and say that was then and this is now.

Having a small issue with logic gates. I have just finished installing all the mods from Direwolf20's LP including his world downloads, the issue I am having is that and logic gate that was in the world download so any gate placed by DW is appearing like this any interaction with the block causes the game to crash

I am still able to craft the gates and place them in the world myself and they will function fine. Is there anyway to fix this error?

Feature Request : Mode on filter/sorter/retriever that works based on parent block ID instead of parent:damage value. In other words, it would pull all types of logs and planks in this mode, all types of wool, all DYES by having one of them in the grabbing mode.
EDIT for clarity : If this isn't clear, it would also allow us to push all microblocks with one filter/sorter.
After finishing nearly all farms needed, I'm in trying to build myself an automated cow breeder/harvester ... using wait time with preparing myself for 1.3 and the changed book recipe, which will be used heavily due to Mystcraft ^^
But I'm having quite a hard time to get my deployers to feed my minecart-stored cows, I've managed it once, but no clue on how I did it (teared down this setup :-/ ) ..... and since, completely unable to reproduce a functional feeder I could go with the railcraft feed station to skip this problem, yeah, but it's way to unpredictable on when cows are fed, would add both quite some unneeded complexity with detecting calfs and a need for railcraft.
I just tired it out.
Simply confining the 2 cows in a 2 block fence and placing 2 deployers adjacent to each other filled with whet can do the job.
There needs to be a 5 minute delay between each subsequent deployment though.
The problems I can see will, one, be size constraint. I have tested it for upto 2 calves and 2 cows at a time. The other problem might be killing the cows, but, if I am not mistaken, 1.3 solves that by preventing passive mobs from pushing the player, yes?
Nonetheless, I think I will try to make an effective version of this.
Thank you for the circuits, I think they will shrink my current setup by 3 gates.

There is a rare mythical button called "Search" that likes to answer questions; however, due to its nature, it often blends in with its surroundings so as to remain hidden.
^^that shows a close up of the grate and the tank.
When I try to fill the tank it places lava in gap next to the grate and instead of filling the empty space above it leaks out the bottom. I've double checked there's no gaps and tested with a bucket but I cant see a reason why the tank is springing leaks. Any tips would be appreciated
I'm not sure exactly how your grate is set up, but the grate will output liquid to any open blocks around it, as well as to your tank. You have to ensure that the grate is blocked off on all sides that aren't in the tank.
If we could get pictures from behind the grate (the view you didn't show us) that would be helpful in solving this.
I guess only very few authors will update their mods on that build, some probably don't know of it (since it isn't listed on the jenkins 8080 port with the link on the Forge forum) and others will wait for a recommended build to be released.
Eloraam is almost certainly among the "very few", though, so I'm happy enough.
You may be interested in knowing - There is now a Minecraft Forge development build out (for mod developers only).
I presume Elo' has been following Forge development and has already started updating RedPower (most mod authors have probably done the same). If this is the case, then it won't be much longer until updates begin to arrive for Forge mods.
If that isn't the case, then mod authors will be starting to update now.
Start to update. The only one who's pronounced himself so far on how long it will take once forge is released is Sir Sengir (Forestry) and he says a few weeks... We've got a ways to go still
If someone has an idea of how to help you then I'm sure they will spring into action.
