I wish she would make herself the work to release the world generation part. That's actually what ~70% of the people want, so they can start new worlds.
RP2 need to be downloaded in module form but this is kinda pointless because the modules need each others. So you can't release world gen without everything else, unless you rewrite part of the code which would be silly
It'll be ready when Eloraam is satisfied with it. Asking for eta/release date normally doesn't get any response. Which if you think about it can be a good thing as it means she is working on it and not wasting time responding to those questions.
In any case, RP2 will definitely be worth the wait.

Just because some of those things don't have super awesome uses right now doesn't mean they won't in the future. You're also forgetting how amazing basalt and marble can make builds look and how useful a flax farm is. Nickel doesn't have a use, yet, but it's been said it will eventually. Volcanoes are an easy to find source of lava and the only place to get basalt from. I think Eloraam has more plans for them as well, but don't quote me on that as I could be remembering wrong. The handsaws and everything they can make really gives people an edge in making creative builds.
I definitely have to agree on wanting the bundled cable, chips, and pipes. I'm also waiting for the machines to make my sorting system, and it'll be interesting to see what I can make with the frames and their motors.
Also if I remember correctly, some of those gems are getting renamed because of vanilla Emeralds (and possibly Gregtech's Rubies and Sapphires).
I am making a new install of Minecraft with Redpower, and I have all the parts, but the micro blocks are not showing up in creative. Does anyone know why?

No way!! Volcanoes can be epic when you find well formed ones and they actually work well for a power source if you want to stick to that them while building around them. Plus I absolutely love marble and basalt. I always build my TC bases in a volcano and it can be down right cool looking if you find a huge one and hallow it out and run the lava down between iron bars or something or even glass.
That's personal opinion of course Look forward to RP2 more everyday, I'd guess at 1.4.6 if it wasn't out by today so I'll just keep checking in and playing my other mods until than.
Red power 2 has been released, mojang has updated, and eloraam is now working on red power 3. Come to think of it, isn't the 1.4.5 version sort of going to be like a red power 3? After all, she has pretty much started from scratch.

2.Every day there are speculations "it comes in a week, at ,halloween, at this date, at end of year, but no one of this dates are from Elo hereself only from speculations.
so take at it is, Read here last post on twitter, she is making paper with a lot of fun, so we can take a lot of paper some day from here, but nothing more

See, that's interesting because I have a PM from a moderator that states the rule at 3 versions...
...but it's not like that actually matters because the rules also state that mods should have a link to a working download in the OP, which this mod DOES NOT have.
She doesn't like releasing things that have bugs in them. Minecraft 1.3 made a lot of changes to the way the game works, which required most mods to be re-written to a certain extent. It's taken a long time for Eloraam to re-write the mod to work with versions of Minecraft greater than 1.3, due to the complexity of the mod itself relative to other mods, and the fact that she now has a full time job, and is the only one working on the mod. Re-writing a mod as complex as RedPower introduced several bugs, which she's been fixing for the last few months (as has been shown by those who stream and release videos of their play on Forgecraft, a server that many of the authors of major mods use to test out their mods before releasing them). It's been reported by those in communication with Eloraam that she's now down to the last few bugs, and provided she doesn't decide to delay the release to after Minecraft 1.4.6 comes out, it's entirely possible that it comes out within the next couple weeks. It's been said that the next release will be RedPower 2 PR6 to answer your other question.

you know eloraam hasnt given tekkit/technic permission to add redpower right? the only mod pack that has her permission is the ftb modpack. if they put rp in the technic pack it will be without her permission.
This is odd... As every version of tekkit/Technic ive played has included Red Power in the pack. Would seem odd that a modpack that big and popular would have included it under Eloraam's nose?
