Last news in May, new version of minecraft is out since a couple of weeks and zero information is released on the RedPower website. Have it been abandoned by the devs? What is going on?
You're really exuding an excessively entitled attitude. It's possible this isn't what you mean, but you're making it sound like you think Eloraam owes you information on her progress. She will get it released, she always does, you just have to be patient.
They just have to acknowledge the fact that the update exists and say they are/are not working on it. That's it. It's the basic of having a product and running a website.
...actually, what you two are using is irony (stating something by its opposite), not sarcasm (clever comment that hurts like a needle). People often confuse both because they work together nicely (no irony intended).

SHE will post the update out of the blue like SHE always does. quit complaining about lack of news, this is alot more news then SHE usually gives us in a month

Eloraam is ONE WOMAN. She has a life outside of Minecraft modding. She is also working on her own project on the side. You want instant updates to a mod? MAKE IT YOURSELF.
Question, I know automatic crafting is coming to redpower, presumably soon, but what are we looking at as far as functionality, does anyone know for sure? I guess the question is will it be up to the challenge of providing an alternative to bc auto craft plus logistics pipes?

If you are dissatisfied with how Eloraam is running her mod perhaps you could request a refund. Oh wait...

Give us a full crash log, in spoilers.
your error
So we can tell you everything you've got wrong in one go.
Yeah, Eloraam said it won't be an auto-workbench, but something much more intresting and totally new. In fact, she kept it secret for a "surprise" effect.
My guess is some sort of assembly line with machines that work inline with tubes that can "add" items.
Huh. That would be interesting. The question is, though, would a system like that get around the major prob i have with using rp2 for an autocraft system right now, which is being able to actually get enough control over item flow to verify if there are enough items to craft said piece, and use it as a crafting system as opposed to simply a factory. In other words, inventory overflow inventory management. Somehow i think not, i got the feeling eloraam thought auto craft was wayyy OP reading some old forum posts.

please go away, all your posts asking for confirmation on a 1.3 EE release were deleted. stop demanding news on mods, you'll only get your ass kicked by thread regulars
I do hope so, I really do, I have been struggling with the exact problem for a couple of days. You could try the Retreivulator.
Was thinking about it actually, at least as a short term solution... the problem long term though isn't so much the cost for me as the idea that its sooooo bulky, if used for more than a few things, i believe, and unfortunately the interface wouldn't' exactly be the most conducive for controlling the number of items you get out. As much as I hope eloraam comes up with a system that will compete with bc and logistics pipes, somehow i can't see it happening as easily, at least as far as telling you when items are missing, and giving u that level of inventory management that buildcraft and logistics pipes combination would. I'd much rather use redpower, though, because of the way pneumatic tubes handle overflow... But I just haven't found a way to do it right now that's not a lot of bulk and that is reliable. Though, wit hteh way rp2 is designed, is it even possible, or rather plausible, to have that kind of inv management?

I still see all my posts, maybe you've mistaken me for someone else because I didn't ask for a confirmation for release of EE nor RP. No one kicked no one's ass, I raised an issue about communication and hopefully it will be heard. As for the rest, be more polite.
There is a dead end when you get down to Triple Cover Corners, players can't craft them into anything. I had put three Diamond Panels together for a Triple Panel, and then realized I couldn't cut them back down. My friend tried cutting them down as far as they could, trying to craft them each step of the way, and ended up completely stuck at Triple Cover Corners. At this point when I asked in IRC, they said to just spawn the six diamonds and delete the corners. Headed to do that now, but thought you might want to know about this one.
Clearly you don't understand the issue and continue to make things up so I'll just leave it at that and so should you.
i think its you who don't understand the issue, the issue is you are complaining about a free mod that is made in Eloraam's free time and not on your scheduled Mr. CenterOfTheUniverse.

Actually; it's 7 separate downloads that are all pretty much needed to get a good experience with this mod and each one is attached to an adfly link. So, no, they are not "free". We are paying time and El is getting money.
Not for or against linking with adfly, just correcting your "free" statement.
As for me. I'm waiting patiently. I'd actually rather everyone wait till 1.3.2 since it seems to be on the horizon soon.
Actually I think you should start a side project of completely rewriting the entire game... make it much neater/effecient/user/modder friendly and make the light able to shine in diff colors!
She was creating her own version of minecraft titled "minia." As I understand, she scrapped most of that and restarted, and is now calling it Zeta.

im actualy really good at compacting logic like that, v1 of that gate array was 4x the size of yours
lol, why are we arguing about different ways to imply stupidity here? well, at least its better then the tekkit argument...
immibis tube stuff is an "add on" (separate mod that has no use with out RP/BC) that adds a few useful things
SHE will post the update out of the blue like SHE always does. quit complaining about lack of news, this is alot more news then SHE usually gives us in a month
place a panel/slab/ect strip in the crafting table
someone else built a trench digger using that concept, it was pretty cool
