Having a bit of an issue getting a 2 axis frame build working. I have a row of frames going horizontally, and one going vertically. It can move in either direction, but it detaches the motors going in the other plane. This is what my setup looks like: http://imgur.com/I8RGw Sorry I can't embed image.
I have seen videos online for omnidirectional frame engines, but I can't quite grasp what the heck they are doing.

I could be wrong, but I'm fairly certain that frames won't stay 'stuck' to any faces of Redpower items. So the arrow side of the frame motor will not be moved by a frame. Same with the block breakers, deployers and other items of the like.

I believe in a better world; a more beautiful, pure and extravagant vista filled to the brim with life. Time for a new seed.
So, I am playing on an SMP server, and we have noticed a slight bug with the Disks.
When saving information to a block, aka:
0 LIST
WIPE
0 PP TEST
FLUSH
1 LIST
0 PP TEST2
FLUSH
0 LIST
When that 0 LIST shows up, all the data written to it is gone. The disk will save the data, and retain it as long as I don't switch blocks. Is there any fix to this? What are we doing wrong?
A huge chunk of my quarry machine just disappeared. I haven't played in a week and when I logged into today, the mining head and one of the moving axis was gone. What the hell is going on???
Oh look at me necroposting!
There's a giltch if chunks don't all load at the same time. I haven't dug deep yet, but I think 1.3 improves chunk handling in a way that should finally allow me to kill these bugs. I hope.
Using the middle click to select a nikolite ore block triggers a black screen crash and renders the world unloadable.
Middle-click is currently all kinds of broken.
I haven't seen much point in working on RP with 1.3 looming over my head, since it brings so many internal changes that I'd just have to do the work twice, but now that 1.3 is out, I'm going to be giving this stuff a good go-over.

It supposedly does, but I've seen some weird chunk processing with the unmodded 1.3.1 pre-release in single player that indicates there's still room for improvement.
It sometimes renders chunks out of order, so that distant terrain becomes visible while chunks in the middle distance remain unrendered. They can remain unrendered for 10-30 seconds which can seem like an eternity.
I don't see why it should ever be rendering distant chunks before closer chunks, although 10816 chunks are loaded with Render Distance set to Far which is a lot to sort through and process.
I come with a suggestion that is to implement a hand. It may be a stupid request but the goal would be to use a deployer with this hand and run the action that would come on a right click by hand.
Not a stupid suggestion at all - more like a feature that will probably happen eventually. We've been toying with the idea of calling it a "fing-longer".

Of course that would have to activate the "what if" machine.
Install Forge, NEI. In that order.
both fresh installed.
Both white screen immediately after Mojang Screen
you need to install chicken code core too

Nope, chicken core doesn't go in the jar anymore as of the latest version.
You've been added, along with several others.

Only when there's a real change.

Not far off the truth.
It's a new engine. I've been working on it a fair bit while waiting for MC 1.3. Here's another couple:
Holy S___, Eloraam! I'm beginning to think you're actually from the future. Please make a game of your own, so I can buy it.
Not a stupid suggestion at all - more like a feature that will probably happen eventually. We've been toying with the idea of calling it a "fing-longer".
It was a braindamaged oversight on my part, and one that I've been meaning to correct ever since I realized it.
I'll be fixing that in the 1.3 version.
Normal mapping, yes. And environment mapping on the bricks, not just the glass. And proper glow for the lamps.
I've even been experimenting with this, although it's not production-ready yet:
Can I ask, is it just an experiment so far? Or it will be available as a Minecraft mod/ Minia engine?

Yes. Blank disk, remade multiple times. remade the CPU, FORTH disk, and everything. still have that issue
Of course that would have to activate the "what if" machine.
