Weird. Maybe it's link to the use of Minecraft Extended but I'm not sure of that. It looks like it doesn't like your 312. Have you tried another ID, just to be sure that there is no hidden character or something else ?
Huh, I changed the block's ID from 312 to 330 and now it says this:

I don't understand. None of them have 125 anymore. I changed all the IDs to something above 300 because of my use of PlasticCraft and BetterBlocks. That's why I was wondering if there was something causing it to not read the config file.
Are you sure that you are editing the file correctly ? You have maybe an error somethere causing the file to be regenerated.
Maybe... I was wondering if I was just typing it wrong. But what usually causes it to be regenerated? My entire config looks exactly like this:

I tried changing the top part, but it changes back no matter what I do every time I load Minecraft. So I figured it had to do with the way I typed the bottom part without the number signs. Maybe I overlooked something small but significant?
I thought setting it to 0 disables it? It doesn't seem to affect it whether I give it a proper ID or not though. It just won't understand my changes at all.
I've got Minecraft 1.7.3 with modloader, too many items, plastic craft, runways, garages and elevators installed. All latest versions, worked fine. Installed Fancypack, changed block ID's after conflicts, tried to open my inventory and got "saving chunks" and then a black screen. I think there is text that comes up before the black screen but it disappears to quickly for me to read or print screen it.
Can you tell me what I've done wrong?
Edit: Removed and replaced my saves, and now it works. Have no idea why.
Edit: Problem came back. any extra info you need to help me I'm happy to give.
Ignore this, my saves were corrupted. I started a new game and it works now. Hurray for 6 months down the drain.
Quick question: How do i replace the shelves with the old bookshelves? I mean since the shelves are empty and purely decorative i'd like to have the ol' bookshelves back.
I believe that in your config file for the fancypack mod, if you look at the top of the list you'll see this line: #UseNewShelves (int:1,>=0.0,<=1.0) -- Set to 1 to use the new shelves
Scroll down until you see this line, and adjust the 1 to 0, and you'll be back to the old shelves. UseNewShelves=1
Save the config file, reopen your minecraft launcher and enjoy crafting!
Go to your .minecraft folder in %appdata% and check your modloader.txt to see what the conflicting block ID is, then go to your config folder and open you mod_fancypack file. All the block IDs are in there. Change the conflicting IDs to one that's not being used by another mod. I usually go in descending order from 255 as they're less likely to be already used.

This isn't Compatible with the Aether mod is it? I tried and I did EVERYTHING right, and the game crashes! This is my favorite mod, and I cant use it with my other favorite mod!

can you make it so that setting an id to 0 disables the object + recipe along with it - this mod has alot of recipe conflicts with 2 other mods i use, which i won't advertise here, but this is an awesome mod, wish i could actualy use it..
Hello! Recently I installed the updated FancyPack and whenever I try to update CJB'S X-ray properties, for example I tried to make stair cases see through, the game goes to Saving Chunks. That's one of the problems, secondly it seems the wooden shelves have replaced the bookcases, I'm guessing because of the IDs overlapping. Is there a solution for this?
Edit: I fixed the bookcases by changing the config xD;
I'm not expecting this addition, but it would be awesome to be able to use materials from the Aether mod to make furniture. I just want to make a cold Aethercloud chair. :tongue.gif:

Hope that helps. :unsure.gif::smile.gif:
How do you change block ids
Go to your .minecraft folder in %appdata% and check your modloader.txt to see what the conflicting block ID is, then go to your config folder and open you mod_fancypack file. All the block IDs are in there. Change the conflicting IDs to one that's not being used by another mod. I usually go in descending order from 255 as they're less likely to be already used.
