EDIT
MEGA Conflicts with BetterBlocks, will try and fix if not i'll pick one or the other
I could see the fences conflicting since the 'new fence' option is probably exactly what BetterBlocks does - I would enable it in one or the other, but not both.
Hmm, all right! Suggestions I've thought up over the past day:
- Carpets would be really cool. You could either make them with just flat colors (red, yellow, etc.) If you're capable, you could get fancy with them; make bear rugs and all sorts of different things. : ) To keep them from taking up blockIDs, maybe they could be an item, like paintings? Which you can place on the floor instead.
- Different kinds of beds? They wouldn't change the bed function itself. But maybe just the appearance, like the ability to make a futon, sleeping bag, etc.
- A few more pieces of furniture, like a couch, loveseat, stool...
- If you really had some time on your hands, you could add an armor/weapon rack, that a player might be able to display their stuff on. (To make it easier, it could be a block that's crafted from, say, planks and a sword/helmet/etc. and then the sprite itself would be displaying the items, but it wouldn't actually be functional. ie: you couldn't take stuff off it or place stuff back on it.)
These are suggestions that have all ready been done in other mods (that I've seen), but I think they'd be great to implement/include with Fancy Pack:
- Something like wurstknife's mod, where you can make books, and place them in a bookshelf? This might be too much of a pain, but it's there to think about.
- Display cases
I've always done carpets by using cloth on the ground :smile.gif:
I like the multiple bed idea! I'll look into that!
Armor racks or display cases are also good - I've also considered fish tanks
Bookshelves eh? That's what I was working on a few minutes ago. A better bookshelf option - not actual books on shelves
Just one small bug. When you try to break wooden chairs or tables, the "wood" bits that fall off are from the bed texture. This isn't a problem on the normal texture pack, but on Xenocontendi it turns purple, and on Good Morning Craft it turns green. You should probably fix that, but it's not such a big deal.
Also, the .core file is being saved in the directory of Minecraft.exe was the cause of my earlier problem, because Minecraft didn't have permission to write under Program Files. Anyways, nice job with the update. Items look much better and everything is fully functional as far as I know :wink.gif:
The server I play on is currently preparing to add the following through bucket: Modloader, guiAP, Audiomod, Mo Creatures, Fancypack, stainedglass and kaevator's slopes. Each player needs this clientside, so the owner put up a download link for the .rars for each and TFMM2.32 mod loader.
Here are the instructions as posted on the thread:

I downloaded the windows version and ran it exactly as it stated and it gave me a blackscreen. The install worked for pretty much everyone else on the server. I spent about two hours on mumble with the server mods trying to figure out the issues and we tried a bunch of different things. I installed using mcpatcher, I manually installed. I did all this after updating drivers and java, and then even switching from 32 bit to 64 bit jre (that only led me to the out of memory screen which I never had before). I ran minecraft from the TCFMM launcher and got it, and still got black screened after having a friend dropbox all of the proper files already installed. And yes, I made sure the meta.inf was gone, and did all the installs on a clean mc folder and jar.

If it worked for other people have you tried using one of their minecraft.jar files/config files?
If your server admin is using Bukkit/ItemCraft, make sure they're using the latest versions of the ICPlugins and your mod pack uses BB's Update 5 (not 6 - hasn't been updated that far yet, and if you use Update 6 your client will crash when you craft/break furniture). Many users had this issue and posted about it in the ItemCraft thread on the Bukkit forums; it was fixed for them with an update. I've been running ItemCraft with all of the plugins with no problems for a couple weeks - now just to wait for asgaard to update his ICFancyPack plugin to reflect all the additions BB has put into Update 6 <3 Hope this helped.
-EDIT- Yes, using someone else's .jar works (have sent mine to a couple of my server's citizens and they were able to connect just fine). The key is using the right versions of the Bukkit plugins. I make mod packs for my server as well, though all I do is instruct them to use a clean .jar and extract the mod pack I send them into their .minecraft folder. It merges the resources folder for Mo' Creatures and adds another folder I named 'Monkeys' into their bin folder with the MCPatcher. They run that first, then drag everything from the Monkeys folder into their .jar, and everything's kosher. Also make sure your server admin knows there is an itemID conflict between SuperSlopes and MoreTrees if he's planning on adding that too, for future reference - that can easily be solved.
I've only gotten to test out the chairs so far but it's working perfectly! Thank you so much!! *hug*
I have a few ideas for more items: coffee tables and end tables. All made with wood or cobblestone, swing sets (Made with wood, string, and iron. Just a basic 'A' shaped swingset), gates (Made from wood only), Oil lamps (Placeable on the tables. Possibly made with glass, iron and squid oil?), couches (Wood for the base and any color wool you want for the seat cushions), kitchen counters (Having items able to be placed on them would be a plus (Kind of similar to the way items can be placed with the shelf mod I use. You can find the mod in these forums). They would be made with wood for the base and cobblestone or sandstone for the top), bathtubs (Made with stone or cobblestone for the tub itself and maybe iron or gold for the faucets), toilets (Made with stone), sinks (Made with stone or gold), stairs with rails (Rails would match the material of the stairs), and kitchen stoves (Made from stone or iron).
fish bowls/birdcages
carpets/tapestries (ie: cloth that's placeable on walls or floors, like pictures)
armor stand (to show off your gold armor)
chest-of-drawers (stackable chests that still work?)
a placeable horizontal panel that functions as a solid surface, like the wall panels, but more like a table without legs. Why? to use as wall shelves, floating shelves, stepping stones, etc.
a similar horizontal panel that you can move through like the wall panels. Why? to build TRAPS! WOO! (I'll just walk along this solid cobblestone path... ARRRRGH!)
figurines like the clay and bone craft guys built from gold, iron or obsidian. They're cool, I want more!

is there any way to change the config file to make it doesnt change itself back when the game starts? its conflicting with finite liquid so i try to change the block id`s of fancypack but they just revert -.- i cant change the finite liquid props or all the water in my worlds will turn to obsidian chairs :sad.gif:. please help
I have the exact same problem.. I've changed the blockid's three times now, they just revert to the original as soon as I start the game. Any help would be appreciated.

I think I found another bug; when you have multiple types of stained glass in your inventory, and you drop colored glass on the ground, it picks back up as whatever color it is. But when you drop regular glass it divvies itself up amongst your colored glass starting with whatever is in slot 1 of the quickbar and cascading from there. Also, when you have only one color of glass and you drop any other kind of glass on the ground, stained or not, when you pick it back up it becomes that one color of glass in your inventory. This seems like a bit of a dupe bug, and it happens with both SSP and Bukkit/ItemCraft (otherwise I'd have reported it to asgaard). I repeated it multiple times while building my library windows this morning.
Also, I'd like to nominate drapes as an added item - they could work the same way that the panels do but with a half-transparent texture. One placement could be like a small window dressing while two panels vertically could have a texture change (a la treasure chests) and create longer, flowing drapes? Maybe in a royal red, navy blue and velvety violet. Haha.
Oh, and maybe some palette swaps for the current flowers? Purple, blue, white, orange perhaps? Growing in the wild would be awesome, but just to have them as summonable items (or maybe craft them with dyes + roses/dandelions) would work too - add them as damage values of current flowers perhaps? It works for furniture.. :biggrin.gif:

EDIT: fixed my fail grammar
I had this problem too when I first wanted to upgrade to this latest version. What I ended up doing to solve it was finding another fancypack config file in my java install directory (JAVA not Minecraft) in the /bin/ folder with all the default settings. So my suggestion to you is to search your computer for any and all fancypack property files and delete them. Then try loading the game and editing them again. I ended up finding around 3 property files for fancypack before I found the working one. This is especially prevalent to those who have been using this mod for a while (since Nov/Dec)

Yea, when I put a number less than 64 normal glass in my inventory then selected ANY stained glass from toomanyitems, the stained glass combined into the normal until it was a 64 normal glass. Whatever of the stained glass was left over from that became just stained glass. I am sure I worded this right, and this bug is annoying >.< Any ideas for me folks?
I could see the fences conflicting since the 'new fence' option is probably exactly what BetterBlocks does - I would enable it in one or the other, but not both.
I'll take a look when I get back to coding tomorrow.
P.S. Pretty weird isn't it? :smile.gif:

a placeable horizontal panel that functions as a solid surface, like the wall panels, but more like a table without legs. Why? to use as wall shelves, floating shelves, stepping stones, etc.
a similar horizontal panel that you can move through like the wall panels. Why? to build TRAPS! WOO! (I'll just walk along this solid cobblestone path... ARRRRGH!)
figurines like the clay and bone craft guys built from gold, iron or obsidian. They're cool, I want more!
Try cobblestone instead of fancystone - I made it a little easier
Excellent Ideas both of you!
is there any way to change the config file to make it doesnt change itself back when the game starts? its conflicting with finite liquid so i try to change the block id`s of fancypack but they just revert -.- i cant change the finite liquid props or all the water in my worlds will turn to obsidian chairs :sad.gif:. please help
EDIT: fixed my fail grammar
Sorry but I lol'd at the ocean of chairs
I will look into this issue tonight
