I made a modpack that me and my cousin use and the only thing wrong with it was, with smart moving in the pack, when i looked at his character i would drop frames to where i only had like 14 where when i look away from him I had 300+. It took us a while deleting and checking to see what caused the lag and it was indeed this mod, we've used this mod for years and don't want to see it go from our summer modpack. Is there any way to fix this?
Hey this is a great mod but no of the animations seem to work i don't know what the problem is if anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this that would be great
Another issue: now with BackElytra, a backport of 1.9+ Elytra to 1.8.x-
The elytra dont attach in the back of the player...
This is almost certainly an issue with Smart Moving (or a limitation). The same thing happens with Thaumcraft armors, and I'm guessing most mods that add unconventional armors.
Render Player API Enhancer is supposed to fix this by hacking Smart Moving support into all detected mod armor, but it doesn't seem to be working.

Elegant as the Wind, Silent as a Forest, Mysterious as the Ocean,
Fierce as Fire, Immovable as a Mountain, Righteous as the Light!
I'm honestly not sure what you were expecting to happen with something that hooks so deeply into the movement logic. There's not much I can do about this.
I've removed SmartMoving and its dependencies until news of dev due to many incompatibilites not only with this single mod, but with anothers too (in my list: BackPacks (back in 1.7), MalisisDoors (reported here not long ago).
this forum has a way to hide giant walls of text in spoiler tags.
there are two was to do this.
1. use the spoiler button, it is the ! located between the insert image button and the create link button in the toolbar.
2. put the following text around your crash log within [ ]: spoiler at the top and /spoiler at the bottom.
That's a slightly confusing way of describing the method of directly writing in spoiler tags. It's much better to make use of the code block function, which would then allow you to actually write it out with correct syntax but without actually making it a spoiler.
Text goes here. Great for walls of text and posting your crash logs.
That's how you write in a spoiler, ladies and gentlemen. If some of you somehow don't understand how to press the button that gives you spoiler tags automatically, use this method.
This is what it looks like in action.

The button is easier.
Type what you want, highlight it, hit the spoiler < ! > button.
However, I understand that pasting in a bunch of crash report data makes the forum barf. It lags, doesn't want to scroll, and won't post half the time..
Hence why using pastebin.com or paste.ee or ghostbin.com and linking is an excellent workaround ;).
I've tried to make a server including PlayerAPI Core but it crash poorly.
This is with Thermos http://pastebin.com/sD42er5r
This is with Forge server http://pastebin.com/9PVkt7bj
Remove SmartRender. Its client-only

And gameplay-wise its almost unusable ().
Anyway, i've created a ticket on BackElytra github, its here for anyone interested.
Seriously: the author is still around? If the mod can be considered dead, i think the best option is to remove it from modpack, unfortunately...

Unfortunately even the BackElytra author refused to (try) to fix in his side:

I hope dev will resume soon

try adding the armors to the enhanced render player config files. I got it to work with some things from TiC.
Can AnyOne Tell Me Why This Is Happening
