Okay, I've had a problem for a while (it's been in the past few versions) that when I rebind a key, it binds it back to the default when I restart the game... Does anyone know of a fix for this?
EDIT: I went back and saw some other people had the same problem (I checked and just didn't notice it) and I found that I had build 804, not the latest. So yeah, if you want it fixed, go get the latest version (844 at this time) and use that.
That's what I get for not checking back through the pages for once...
Can a Windows XP run this Mod? My computer is from 2005 and im being cautious after what i did to my old comp with Garrys mod. Also i hope this isnt a big memory Hog.
so.. i got one problem. just not sure where to post this..
I have problem where my char only look at one direction.
when i climb the block right side of me it still does just that there is no animation.
when i shoot bow it goes to where it is supposed to but i still look only one direction ( basically my arrow goes though my body)
not sure it is smart moving or other mods that i downloaded for this mod.
"Hey, I'm running a bunch of mods together, and one of them add a variation of vines that they call Ivy. Could you put an option in the config to add blocks for climbing like ceiling climbing? " --previous post
The mod is Biomes o' plenty and it adds vine variations like "willow" and "ivy", and while I know I can add blocks for climbing on the ceiling, I cant seem to find an option for adding blocks that can be climbed on the side of (the way that you can climb free hanging vines now).
On another note, Micro blocks from Forge Multipart cannot be placed/place in the incorrect locations while crawling and flying (both smart flying and normal flying) (I am unsure who this should be reported to)
When i tried this mod with ShapeShifterZ-1.6.2 and TooManyItems this is what happened when i joined/created a Singleplayer World:

Hello. I dont know if you can do something about but i got a problem with the mod "Lambdacraft 1.5.0.10" it makes "Smart moving" to closely stop working when i sneak its at normal walking speed even when crawling, cant jump and cant climb things. I hope you can do something about I really want both mods working because these are two of my favorite mods.
Minecraft 1.5.2
Forge 7.8.1.738 for 1.5.2
Smartmoving 14.0 for 1.5.2 (ModLoader or Minecraft Forge or MCPC+) (im pretty sure SMoving 1.6.2 its going to have the same problem when lambdacraft update to 1.6.2)
This happens on any configuration
So my game crashed several times upon initializing, both with putting the smart moving (for modloader/forge version) into the mods folder and putting the files directly into the 1.6.2-forge.jar. I've found that it's only when the smart moving mod is in (I have both player API and render player API already installed)
I haven't finished adding my mods, but the mods I have in during the crash error with smart moving are forge (of course), NEI, Rei's Minimap, Custom Stuff 2 (nothing in it yet), more furnaces, multi page chest, steve's carts, and Wireless Redstone Chicken Bones Edition.
here's my crash report

Edit: Figured I should add this since I found a problem with another mod, the version of forge I used here is the recommended build, which is #804. Later I tried it out with the latest build (so that optifine would work), which is #857, and I still crashed, and again, it only happens when I add Smart Moving in.
I recently got banned from a pixelmon server for a very, very interesting predicament involving your mod. Apparently on pixelmon servers and solely on pixelmon server one can utilize your mod on said server whether the server host has it modified or not. I was banned for wall climbing and hacking because I thought the mod was installed lol. Turns out that the mod is in fact not installed and on every pixelmon server I played on I could use smart moving. I brought this up to the server host that banned me but not to the others, or the mod designers of pixelmon yet. A rather unique and specific issue don't you think lol?

it's a well known thing already, and has already been addressed, and it's not limited to pixelmon servers, I can do it on any server (or at least I could, right now I can't get it to work at all). The mod technically works regardless of what servers have, but you have a limit to what you can do. for example, swimming or crawling under things leads to you being suffocated. You can still jump and climb, because that is client side, not server side, and wouldn't work if it were server side rather than client side. This is also the case for every mod that is client side (which is pretty much almost every mod), including mods which have items that the server doesn't have (like industrialcraft). however, mods with items will simply either disconnect you if you try to spawn an item not supported by the server, or the item you spawn will not have any affect, or be replaced with another item. one thing smart moving changes is your avatar's position (being able to crawl and swim), but since the server determines the position of your character, if going in a 1x1 space, you'll suffocate, because the server sees you are in a block, while on your side you're not.
all you can do is either 1. not use smart moving when you play online unless you have explicit permission from the OP to use it or 2. let people know right off the bat you're using smart moving, and ask them if that's ok (many servers, once they know you're using smart moving to climb on buildings, they are ok with you using smart moving because you can't exploit anything, but other servers have things that have walls that are normally not meant to be climbed, but smart moving allows you to climb them, and you're not supposed to climb over the walls)
hey devisor i was wondering if i could direct you to the time control remote mod because i think you might be able to help the creator out with a problem with his mod
You are using a version of Smart Moving for Minecraft 1.5.2 with Minecraft 1.6.2 - update to the latest version of Smart Moving.
well that's odd, seeing as I downloaded it from the "current version" section. welp. just redownloaded, hope it works this time.
Edit (a day later) yup, just ran MC, started up fine. I don't know what happened before. I downloaded it from the "current version" section, and I never downloaded the 1.5.2 version (never downloaded MC 1.5.2, I was busy moving and getting ready for another semester at college). oh well. works now, thanks.
Can't think of a way to do it effectively.
I didn't have any problems watching the video. I kind of explain the mod a bit but all the Smart Moving is there.
EDIT: I went back and saw some other people had the same problem (I checked and just didn't notice it) and I found that I had build 804, not the latest. So yeah, if you want it fixed, go get the latest version (844 at this time) and use that.
That's what I get for not checking back through the pages for once...
Just go get the latest Forge version, that's what I did.

This is also the case for every mod that is client side (which is pretty much almost every mod), including mods which have items that the server doesn't have (like industrialcraft). however, mods with items will simply either disconnect you if you try to spawn an item not supported by the server, or the item you spawn will not have any affect, or be replaced with another item. one thing smart moving changes is your avatar's position (being able to crawl and swim), but since the server determines the position of your character, if going in a 1x1 space, you'll suffocate, because the server sees you are in a block, while on your side you're not.
all you can do is either 1. not use smart moving when you play online unless you have explicit permission from the OP to use it or 2. let people know right off the bat you're using smart moving, and ask them if that's ok (many servers, once they know you're using smart moving to climb on buildings, they are ok with you using smart moving because you can't exploit anything, but other servers have things that have walls that are normally not meant to be climbed, but smart moving allows you to climb them, and you're not supposed to climb over the walls)
wanna play with me? give me a pm
well that's odd, seeing as I downloaded it from the "current version" section. welp. just redownloaded, hope it works this time.
