can you test with railcraft's routing blocks when you get around to the new version divisor? sometimes i'll get stuck where there's not a block and i'm wondering if it could be those that are confusing smart moving since i think they're supposed to act like air, i can't completely rule out of slow block updates though too, but i'm pretty sure it's not that as i've had it happen both when i do and do not observe block update lag.
i would post a video and all of that, but the thing i suspect causing it is intended to act like a block isn't really visible, so not sure it'd be helpful.
24 hours gone again, wasted in futility, welcome to minecraft modding, that is (unfortunately) our community.
(an ode to minecraft modding)
i keep making the same mistake, i think "oh, i've given them a few months, surely it'll be fixed by now" THAT is why i seem to ALWAYS be angry to some of you, my advice is to get the lead out.
there were nice things here, until the mod author threw a tantrum.
Is it possible to remove the in-game config hotkeys altogether and just keep the actual movement keys? Like disable the e,m,h / F9 stuff? We set up everything the way we wanted in the config file, but deleting the "F9" for example and leaving it blank does not disable F9 in-game, it just continues working. If not possible, then is there a way to set it up with a modifier key such as Alt+F9 instead?
Hello Divisor, my guild Programmers with Beer (PWB) are currently setting up a minecraft server. It is a private server for now, but do plan on opening it up once we work out all for the bugs we may encounter during setup. It is a small spin off of the FTB Ultimate pack with many of the mods staying the same just remove and added a hand full both ways.
We would like your permission to include this wonderful mod in our mod pack.
Would it be possible to make this mod compatible with the Magic Launcher? I don't know if that was in the plan already or not, but I thought it'd be a good idea to ask.
Thanks, this is day #2 of me trying to get my head around all of this minecraft stuff... My son is driving me nuts wanting to get everything he's been watching on youtube up & running
Generally speaking, how long does it usually take for mods to get updated to latest versions?
Generally speaking, how long does it usually take for mods to get updated to latest versions?
Depends on how big the mod team is. Larger teams have already updated their mods, while single-person mods take time (RedPower is one a LOT of people want but hasn't yet updated past 1.4.7)
Generally I'd say around 2-4 weeks, but that's a massive ballpark figure...
Would it be possible to get the climbing, swimming, and flying animations out of the mod with out altering how the game is played?
Possible, yes, practical... not so sure...
Player animations have no bearing on the actual engine, but you have to know what files to remove/replace... (though they might be clearly named and easy to pick out --- I never looked myself)

Ah thank you for your answer! I'll give it a shot and see how it works.
can you add a parkour roll?
like, when you fall you will prees shift or something and do a roll and prevent most od the falling damge.
I second this, though there should be a rather low limit on how far you can roll from and save damage, after all, technically leaping out of an airplane should reduce you to a bloody smear even if you curl into a ball
Think this is a bug, The features of this mod work in unmodded servers resulting in easy exploits that shouldn't be there. (example climbing out of the tutorial area, or under a do not pass thing)
Since this new 1.6.2 Smart Moving, every time I start up Minecraft, all control keys for this mod keep changing themselves back to default.
The deal is, I personally like to keep the keys for "Grab" and "Change Configuration" to "LSHIFT" (Because I like keeping LCONTROL for Sneaking) and "LEFTARROW". The point is, I'm guessing this is a bug? I even tryed with "Increase Speed" and "Decrease Speed", I then quit out of Minecraft then I went back in, when I checked their keys, they were changed back too. If this IS a bug, I'd be awesome if this was fixed. Other than this, love the mod. Thanks.

Fences are met to keep mobs away or locked in... This ruins the point of gates for fences.
Thanks!
It's not updated to 1.6.2 yet. that's why
