Hmm, I installed the newest 5.2 of control pack and got the error below when i tried to run it...I used MCPatcher btw. only mods i used were Modloader 1.3.2 and ControlPack 5.2

I think this is a bug with modloader. I had fixed it in CP 5.1, but it seemed ok this time so I didn't fix it in 5.2. You could try getting modloader.class from CP 5.1 and installing that. It has the fix and if nothing else changed in modloader for 1.3.2 it should just work.

I'm away from a computer most of this weekend so hopefully that works and will hold you over. If it works please let the thread know so others can benefit!

Well i got it to work, i just re-downloaded the most recent ModLoader and tried patching again with MCPatcher. it worked for me. I mainly use MCpatcher because of the Texture packs i use.

I can second this, I just re-downloaded modloader and it works like a charm. Maybe in the OP you can put to re-download modloader if something isn't working.

So I redownloaded modloader but still no worky. I went and did some testing and I found that this mod is conflicting with Mumfrey's Macros Mod.

Unfortunately I value macros more so I will be waiting until they can play nice before using Control Pack. I will also give Mumfrey a message and maybe you guys can work this out together.

Hmmm... It's not making my minecraft crash but the control pack menu isn't showing up for me.

So this mod is beautifully and sexy though it seems to have problems with Macro / Keybind mod 0.9.3 and LiteLoader for 1.3.2 thanks for the loving support since ever love random INTERNET user.
Although i may be crazy and silly and just wrong so sorry if i am.

Could you sometime do some compatibility patches?
Becorse i want to use this mod but i use both the Macro Keybinds and Optifine(and i dont want to lose the features) so i cant.

but those mods also update so those mods update this mod becomes incompatible again and you complain everytime.

yes compatibility issues are a pain, and it can't always be solved as some mods tend to use the same .class files, or some that just don't get along with each other. So the ultimate fix just to use the mods that can play nice with each other and just deal with it. I myself just use Modloader and ControlPack, and whatever comes with MCPatcher. I dont use Optifine as it doesn't like the Texture pack that I use (Wolfcraft). I'm fine with these mods. Don't really need anything else. But that is just me, I guess.

I really enjoy this mod, but have three possible additions, if you may consider. First being auto-potion: automatically drinks a fire resistance potion in your hot-bar when the player takes fire damage. Second being auto-torch: automatically places a torch based on block light level, also being able to configure the min and max for light levels at which a torch is placed or not placed, but by default places a torch at light level <7. Third, and finally, auto eat: automatically eats food in your hot bar based on various circumstances, one being hunger level, second being type of food in hot-bar, ex. players hunger level is 12 and has x amount of steak, the steak will be consumed even if other food sources are found in the hot-bar i.e. a melon, cooked chicken ect. In the settings for auto eat there would be simply two different options, one would be something along the lines of a rationing mode, which would eat the most abundant food source, the other mode would eat the food that would that would contain the most hunger points without going over the limit of a players hunger (20). For example the first mode, where it would ration the food, would be the players hunger is 10 and has x melon slices, y steak, and z cooked chicken, if the player has x>10, then it would consume the melons, if the player has x=<10 it would still eat the melons, but not eat anything else even if the players hunger is not fully replenished. The second mode does not ration food, but rather tries to achieve a max hunger level (20) the fastest, heres an example of this mode: the player has a hunger level of 9 and has x melon slices, y steak, and z cooked chicken, if the player has any of these foods it will eat which ever that would allow for this: (xyz>= 20, or (xyz, xy, xz, x, y, z)= 20, with this the player would eat say 2 melon slices, and 1 steak or x+2y=20, this would allow for the player to also go over 20 with this scenario: player has a hunger level of 16 and 2 cooked chicken, and 10 melon slices, this mode would eat the two cooked chicken, while the other (the first mode) would eat only the melon slices. I followed the instructions on how to install controlpack with optifine and it's not working... I deleted both optifine and control pack's auw.class files..

EDIT: Fixed it! Stupid me... shouldn't have deleted the auw.class from optifine. That's the water rendering file

Any chance you will add a configuration file or something to choose what tools to use on what? I often use enchanted shovels on trees because they're more efficient and I always have to turn auto-tool off when I'm cutting trees because it switches away. Also some people use mods that add new tools, blocks, food, etc. so a configuration file would be really helpful.

Great mob and it works great, but should I be concern that magic launcher finds 9 errors.
