Sorry I didn't notice this reply earlier! The controls are inverted when you look behind because, well... what it's doing is looking in the opposite direction your head is facing. When you move down, you look toward the ground, and therefore when looking backward that makes you look up :smile.gif: It is a bit awkward though, I will fix that in a future update. Thanks for using the mod!

Might be doable, but how so exactly? You still need to be able to move around, too, and also the camera should still be locked on you. It'd be a little bit cheating if you could fly the camera around freely for example.

This is an excellent mod, however, the additional third person view does not correspond to the direction I am looking in.

I placed a 1x1x2 tower. Then I tested the feature by looking in various different directions. The same view occurred each time.

You can change the key bindings right from the usual options screen in Minecraft. The post and readme mentions that. You aren't the first to ask me though, so I'm wondering why people don't see that. I'm left-handed, believe me, I wouldn't make the controls non-configurable. I can't say whether those mods are compatible though, do they overlap any class files? Non of the files are really optional except for one that deals with Look Behind, and that's mentioned in the readme (sorry, I forget what the obfuscated name was).

This mod is now on my "can't play minecraft without" list of mods

So um... can i unbind W and S causing me to look behind?? i tend to strafe.... leading to lookbehind spasms LOL

Would like to use, but sadly, it conflicts with Minaptics. Not sure how, as Minaptics uses only 1 class, mod_minaptics, but I can't zoom with this mod + minaptics. ah well.

EDIT: Also, you should make the mods separate, maybe, because I only want look behind and resizing thingy :biggrin.gif:

EDIT2: Never mind, after going thru the readme I want them all! Compatible with Minaptics? :biggrin.gif:

What mouse/keyboard operations do you do with Miniaptics? A link to the mod would be helpful (I could find it of course, but just to be sure we're pointing to the same version).

Pressing Tab zooms in, similar to most Valve games, i.e. Portal or Half-Life.

You mean make it so that pressing FORWARD (defaults to W) and BACK (defaults to S) does not do look behind. Sorry to be nitpicky but for some reason people tend to think the keybindings aren't configurable at all even though the readme clearly says they are, so I wanted to make that more accurate :smile.gif:.

I really appreciate all the interest in my mod! Replies like these are what keeps a hobby modder like me going.

I may have some time in the next few days to update it for 1.7. I'll get it out there as soon as I can. Keep monitoring this thread for the update. I don't have any new features planned at the moment, just some bug fixes, but I'd like to add some if there are any great suggestions, so keep them coming!
